Morientes crocked - Sure some of you will be delighted

Moro had some good chances to score, on one occasion even goal keeper was beaten, just a defender or 2 in way, but he couldn't finish it off. Not that he didn't get chance, guess he is still adjusting to EPS game style, even with goal keeper beaten. Give him 4/5 years and he will adjust just fine at time of retirement.

His expression said it all, { oh well, I missed an open goal, I wil not hear the end of it, but like I care }. At another occasion, after his only touch in 20 + mins, he looked exhausted, and commentator had to say this " only one touch in 20+ mins, and it seems Moro has already played few full games today."

There was no passion in his eyes, just blank stare. The drive seems to be gone, just the shell is left. Oh well only few $Million, hope Crouch can deliver more or atleast show passion.

Moro just looks down on confidence in my opinion, I wouldn’t say he doesn’t care or doesn’t have passion.

Although I have stated from the beginning that I have major doubts about whether Moro will do the business for us, I have never doubted his desire to do well for us.

Fernando Morientes should be back in action in two weeks time, according to manager Rafael Benitez.
Morientes definitely misses tomorrow's trip to Tottenham as well as the games with Real Betis and Manchester United next week as he recovers from the hamstring strain sustained on international duty with Spain.

There were fears the Reds' striker could be sidelined for more than a month, but Benites today revealed the news isn't as bad as first thought.

He said: "Morientes should be out for 10-15 days. It's certainly a lot better than when I spoke to him earlier in the week. We'll have to wait and see now.

"It's a blow for us but we have enough strikers for the game at Tottenham. Cisse is fit and so is Crouch and Sinama-Pongolle."

DOH!!!!
