ok,
so they rejected more money from local business?
its time for petty squabling to be brushed aside. Now we are gonna be part owned by a thai guy who cant even name the team
alas its all looking a lot less than rosey. We will get money now but theres more to life than that right? theres morals, local business booms. i dunno, its kida depressed me now

i'm not surprised by the board rejecting morgans proposals. it comes down to a personal issue rather than a business one. i think that the thai deal was done and dusted before this meeting today anyway. :(

I wonder if the board have taken into account that the the Thai prime minister is engaged in an ongoing war with Islamic extremist.Could this put LFC in the front line for revenge attacks? Just a thought.

The Thai plan is to put some 15000 uninssued shares, which will not put money into the hands of any of the boardmembers, but straight into LFC. None of that money comes from people having to buy their own shares back again! Morgan might have to to come back with a new plan that:

a) Values the shares closer to their existing value, ie. 4000, not 1750 (which is a joke) b) not have to make the board buy their own shares back.

Morgan is hoping to underwrite those people who can't/won't afford to buy back their shares. He can get almost 60% of the club that way, if no one buys the new shares. Go read the facts. I think I've gaffed on a few, but they're all in the ballpark of what was offered.

LFC said it was "Unattractive", as an offer. However it still seems the more logical choice for me.

The powers that be are hanging on to their own self interest, that doesn't mean it's in LFC's best interest .
It's called protecting your position.Fck the rest.
Lets face it , they don't want someone who might ask questions  :p  :(  :(

According to a survey in the echo over 80 percent would prefer Morgan's proposal rather than our option from Thailand. Problem is that the ultimate decision is made in the boardroom and given that Morgan has been "quoted" as being critical of the board and Moores then their judgement is clouded already.
It certainly looks like the board will go for Shinawatra , with Parry visiting him already and the public rejection of Morgan's offer this evening.
If the guy's money will allow us to build the stadium and compete in the transfer market then I guess it makes sense. I doubt whether he knows ****** all about our history , the city or football in general but ultimately money talks.
If he doesn't put his money into LFC then reports have suggested he may look at backing the mancs instead.

Well it depends how he finances us - is he putting all the money up front with one big hit ( £ 60 + million ) or is he giving us a regular standing order ?

 The rejection of Mr. Morgan?s bid of injecting money into LFC was expected from the chairman and his henchmen let by Rick Parry, they simply do not want some one like Mr. Morgan in the board of directors of LFC, because this gentleman will challenge their decision in future on how the club should be run, and since John Moors has been in charge the LFC has not won the league!!!!!!!!!.

The blind board of directors has been backing up the under achieved GH for the last five years, and did not win the league, well just earlier today I hear GH says by securing the forth spot in league is a great achievement, well this manager must be mad, as 90% of LFC?s fan know quite well that this season and the last one has been a total disaster by past and not present LFC standards, and now this idiotic manager want to waste more of the club?s money for next season, which I expect the final achievement will be the same or even more disastrous than this one.   GH should not be in charge next season, as LFC has just managed to gain the forth spot with help of other teams, this is the present standard of LFC [the fact reality], and we see our raw young home produced players have been rejected or given free to other clubs, and GH spends Millions on useless players filling half of the squad with them !!!, Well I have stressed previously that the problem of lack success LFC is the Chairman and his henchmen, those people might get money from the Thai PM with big ? against this deal and the complications that will follow LFC thereafter, this is a huge risk the board of directors taking on board.  As for the team progress under GH next season, well friends expect much less achievement than this season, because it is based on false hopes!!!
