Could it be possible that most of the professional football games in Europe including the PL are all fixed by bookies? I know this sound far fetched but the scorelines of majority of scorelines tend to trick the naive gamblers into losing their money. Anyone has any views on this?

Some games are clearly fixed, but I don't think we need to worry about that in the prem much.  There's really only 2 ways to fix a game, by paying off the refs or paying off the players.  Prem players make way too much and most of them care too much to throw the games worth betting on.  People make money when smaller clubs beat the big guys, and the big guys are paid too much for it to be worthwhile.  If refs fix games it's too obvious that they've done a horrible job.  When they make mistakes that are big and affect the outcome of games, they are often suspended or demoted to lower leagues.

I'm sure it's happened, but there are other things we need to worry about.

top flight footballers earn huge sums of cash already...i find it hard to believe that any player would risk it all for an extra few quid.

Maybe some years ago, but not today.
