The whole team played well and it was not just because they were playing Cardiff.

The mix of "stars" and youngsters wasn't perfect but I was a bloody sight happier with this performance than most of the recent ones.

Crouch and Babel worked well together and Stevie seemed to enjoy himself playing with the kids. The Morroccan lad looks decent and his goal was set up and taken very well.

Happier than after most of this season's games. These youngsters deserve another try, as long as Raffa doesn't go too silly with changes.

Thats not like Liverpool to be playing last on a football highlights programme.

Talking about Lucas...i was impressed with his previous performances... IMHO, he's going to be an excellent player for us.

The young lad who scored first hit a rocket.

Stevie's goal came after some nice passing in the penalty area.

Hi Guys! Was a really enjoyable night despite the fact that loads of Cardiff fans were surrounding us in the Main Stand and giving it loads until one of them went too far and got ejected  :D On the game i thought Lucas, El Zhar and Hobbs were all brilliant tonight. Lucas seemed to be drained and was rightly taken off but he had a really decent game and has a bit of elegance about him. A few misplaced passes but he did more good than bad he is one for the future. Hobbs is a player who i hope we will see a lot more of? He wasn't put under loads of pressure tonight but did everything he had to very well. Babel was very hit and miss though. He seems to be one of those players who does the first thing right and then messes up with the second part. Very raw though yet and needs these games. Leto is another who needs more action to show things. As of yet he's not shown much but time will tell.

Oh and also Steive G was class  :bowdown

Happy with our win and Gerrard's goal.
Hope he keeps scoring for us for the entire season :D

JUst got back home from Anfield Knackered!
Enjoyed the night and thought Crouchy did ok, wasn't impressed by Babel tho, until he was put out on the right and he looked well under par IMO.
Zhar and benyoun did really well and Hobbs looks like he needs a run in these games as he's looking really good and got better as the game went on even if he didn't win too many high balls early on.

Antone know what it was that kicked off towards the back of the kop this evening could hear something but couldn't see nowt?

YNWA!
