we must keep baros...that guy has terrific pace and can run at defenders..besides we need to have 4 strikers in the squad...i think he will get his chance next season becoz..cisse might have problem settling in...i hope not

I think when our new manager arrives Baros should be given a chance. I like the way he plays and think with him Cisse and Owen, we will be rattling goals in left right and centre next year

Sell Murphy, Smicer, Riise, Carrahger, Finnan, Kirkland and Henchoz aswell.

Are you people that daft you need to ask stupid questions?

For christs sake we need 4 and no less strikers. At the minute we have three.

Will people stop being stupid and suggesting we sell half of our squad. Players like Smicer, Murphy, Baros, Le Tallec, Traore all have there uses.

The only players we should sell are Biscan, Diao and Maybe if we recieve the correct offer Diouf.

Selling any other player without having a suitable replacement lined up is damn right stupid. We already need to add at least 1 midfielder, 1 striker and 1 defender before we can consider selling anyone else.

agree!! why such a question in the 1st place? Baros is already a good player and got lots of potential. There're so many games to play a season so surely players wil get a chance to play.Right now, Baros is second reliable striker after Owen who can be expected to score...the rest are not up to the mark yet(Cisse unproven in PL, Pongle and Le Tallac still raw)

It was a bit of a dopey question, keep him definately.  Give him a run in the team as a sub when he's not starting and play him as a starting player whenever possible.  Maybe against weaker opponents we could play something like

          Baros  Owen Cisse
                  Kewell
           Hamman Gerrard
   Riise    Hyypia   ?    Carragher
             (sp?)
                  Kirkland

Imagine the look on defenders faces if we played that against say Portsmouth or someone!  Priceless.  We'd be almost guaranteed of goals.

What about:

Baros  Owen  Cisse  Pongolle   Mellor

           Kewell      Gerrard

Finnan         Hyypia        Carragher

                  Dudek

Will we win? as it looks like we're gonna score many?  :p

Baros is a class act, and will shine if / when he gets a good run in the team. Now that Emile has gone we can't afford to offload another striker especially will the credential's of Milan Baros. Owen at some point is bound to be injured and even so Milan would run him for a place as aswell for Cisse when fit.

not far wrong there Lurd i think that Baros Le Tallac and Pongolle will all prove to be a trio of very good buys by Houllier and hopefully they will fullfil the potential that he saw in them and reward this club with a long over due title.:D
