I'm very worried about this game, I would like to see:

Dudek
Finnan, Paletta, Agger, Warnock
Garcia, Gerrard, Alonso, Riise
Kuyt, Bellamy/Crouch

And have some of the youngsters as subs and use them. Didn't LFC win the youth cup last year or the year before, why aren't any of these players making it into the first team???

Why play Reina, he wants to leave apparently, plus he's . The reason for dropping Carragher is purely that he is not playing well and I liked Agger and Paletta against Birmingham so why not use them, they are quick and young.

But I imagine Rafa will play his usual predictable tactics with Reina making a few howlers too boot.

I'm sorry for being negative but I cannot see a silver lining at the moment, I haven't been this depressed since just before Houllier left, fingers crossed ;-)

Back to the topic, I think Middlesborough will be a lot tougher than some people wish to believe. They have a bad knack of turning it on for us and the other top teams, despite being a*seholed by the sh*te ones like Everton.

I'd take a draw.

We got a draw last year when if Stevie had taken his chances we could have won. That wasnt a bad result in the end considering they beat Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal at home although it is a different manager so i wouldnt expect it to be the same.

A tough match none the less. Im not feeling too confident but ill go for a draw at best.

Got a good feeling about this game.  They are always dangerous with the likes of Yakubu and Viduka but we should simply be too strong for them.  This is how i would line up:

                    Reina

Finnan      JC       hyppia      Warnock


Pennant    Gerrard    Alonso      Riise


               Crouch      Kuyt

If Garcia is fit i would start him on th left and slot Riise in at LB.  Think Rafa may be tempted to play Zenden against his former club but hope he doesnt on this occasion.  Bellamy must be pushing for a recall too on his midweek perofrmance.
