That said, some of the posters who criticise the manager do it with the glee of a thug putting the boot in to a man whom lies stricken on the ground, so it's a bit of a chicken and egg situation.

It's a fair point, Mick, and if I may put on my Mod hat for a moment, it's a point that I'd like to see people take on board.

We are currently, I think it is fair to say, a club in crisis.  On the pitch performances have been well below Liverpool standard and off the pitch squabbling and politicking are further besmirching our good name.  Not surprisingly, this has meant that tensions are running high amongst the support and fuses are short.  But, we Moderators have no intention of letting this place descend into anarchy.  So, for those who think that starting and/or perpetuating petty flame wars is the way to blow of steam, think again.  Let's show our fellow supporters some respect by keeping the debate passionate yet insult free.

He just has to stop the friggin rotation. Pair-up Torres and Kuyt. Let Kuyt create space for Torres. Don't use Kuyt as attacking midfielder, but more in the box.
Give the players more trust and no more rotating because of  rotatingsystem.

You only look how well Everton have done, Moyes is sticking to what he knows is his best 11.Ultimatly Rafa is now putting the nails into his own coffin because after 4 years in the premiership he has not learned how to play in this league and for all the good he has brought to us it is plain and clear that he will never win the league for us.

When we get our next manager hopefull we get a manager that lets the players play with freedom and purpose and play some entertaining football and move on more dead wood in Risse, Voronin, Penant and Kuyt......

plus a cash injection.....

I know not asking for much am I?

not asking to much but riise used to be a good player i think .

Mabye if new manager comes in he might get the best out of these so called trash people keep saying these players are.

kuyt isnt good enough.  Slow, average technique and doesnt score goals.  He needs to be sold.

He is obviously better than Voronin

Voronin    Free
Kuyt        11 million ( or sumthing )

Kuyt is miles beeter than Voronin ...

Another poor performance from the reds and theres now no papering over the cracks , the team has lost all confidence and the only way to get it back is for players to step up to the mark barring messes reina carra gerrard mascherano and torres. The other players in the squad are simply not pulling the wieght.

Now i don't want to get into another debate on rotation ,because i think it's gone beyond that now. Something and i honestly don't know what is seriously wrong . Infact put it down to what you want and i'll be happy to concede the point . What i'm seriously worried about now is getting 4th place and getting some fighting spirit into our team .How can so many players be out of form or not even trying to fight for form ? How has this team gone from murdering pompey to such terrible performances in the last 6 or so games ?

Has the manager lost the dressing room ? maybe . Has all the speculation over rafa's job got to the whole team? possibly.  If this is so , where is the fight gone ,where is the pulling together and trying to sort it out , it's just not happening and it's puzzeling me .

For the first time in a few season's now i'm beginning to worry where we are going as a team and a club. It really isn't helping matters when there is complete silence from the top , i mean even if G+H came out and said we are playing cr@p and rafa's got until the end of the season to sort it out ,atleast we'd all know where we stand , but nothing , absolutely nothing .  :no
UP THE PURPS !!!

We need another Gerrard/Torres. A good attacking player that he doesnt :censored: about with.

While were at it, lose riise and the other (below) driftwood standard players.

Kid myself? no, thats what we need, kidding myself would be thinking were ganna get one of these

Agger needs to be back asap, our pace at the back to so bad Renia is the sweeper for everything, if we could stop letting goals in the 1 moment of greatness Torres does would be enough...
