speaking of stuart pearce, how bout that jewell lad? He's one hell of a tough guy and yes siree he's got what it takes to manage a bigger premiership side than wigan. Anyone on this?

i totally agree with both of you on this one...souness a great player in his day but as a coach sorry...remember his trademark saying when liverpool lost a game  the players have no passion, and paul c youre right newcastle would be tailer made for someone like pierce,  merry christmas wiley, wiley what do you think of souness be honest 

I like Souness,i don't think it is good to be changing manager every year,i agree that we aren't really taking a step forward tbh and if a suitable replacement was in place then i would take it,but who right now could replace souness?

well the red card wasn't rescinded,  but imho it definitely should have been.  The tackle was late but his studs werent showing, if anything he was trying to back out of the challenge.  I guess that's where his reputation works against him.  Good l for the rest of the season.
