Better to play Maxi then a 20 year old though we couldnt risk that, who knows what would happen if we went that route? We might even get knocked out of europe by an average portugese side and have an ineffective player on the pitch for 90 mins every game from now until the end of the season.

Whats up with all the love for Maxi during the games? Am I the only one that thinks he is not contributing enough and especially not warranting songs and stuff?

no idea. He's one of the worst finshers i've ever seen in a red shirt.

I've seen him fluff 4 nailed on scoring opportunities this season alone.

It's shocking, really, considering his legendary goal in the 2006 WC. I guess everyone has their good days!

he's had a major injury since then and hasn't been the same since.

Get rid ASAP

Im surprised there hasnt been a writeup on Maxi since his 4 goals in back to back games.

Claims he is happy & wishes to stay with us.

I have to admit that his form has gone much noticed this season as he has been very average. A player I do wish to see leave but who knows whether he can convince furthermore in the last 3 games is anyone's guess.

Squad player for me, quite happy to see him stay but if we have any title ambitions we need better players.

We need better players than Maxi if we want to compete against the best.  He's not terrible but he isnt good either.

despite scoring a hatrick, he still needs to go, not good enough overall.

i reckon kk is only putting him in the shop window and he will be gone in the summer.
we need an option much better than maxi who can consistently deliver.

Priorities - we need to fill far greater gaps in the squad before worrying about Maxi.

On Fire right now.  He's really making a case for himself.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
