I wouldnt be to suprised if he was on a permanent deal i bet few know the ins and out of it, lfc did what ever they had to, to get their man and keep it legal within the epl. Superb player he's like Hamman with better feet, i think he'll play just as much if not more than Xabi. Theres no way Rafa would let him leave and why would he want to, he played in a CL final within 6 months of signing and he will have won more medals in 18 months time, if thats the case.

And oh yer that stuf from Parry, he's just trying to stir it with the hole Teves\ scum\ sheff utd saga, proberly because Rafa told him to sort out a Teves deal i meen come on do you honestly think Rafa wouldnt want Teves, i bet his name was on the list given to Parry and owners. Pull your finger out R.P and get us a couple of wingers off Rafas most wanted.

Macherano is becoming a goal-scoring revelation for argentina....

He scored his 2nd goal of the tournament against peru.

Who needs gerrard when u have Mascherano chipping in goals from midfield.... :p

Btw, i thought we had signed him for 10 million pounds last season....but looks like we haven't got a permanent deal for him.

If hargreaves costs 17 milliion....then 16 million for macherano sounds a bargain (although they will eat up a huge portion of our 2008/2009 transfer budget).

I hardley 2 goals allows warrants that sort of comment after just 2 goals, the 2st of which looked like a dodgey low cross/pass.
