not content with telling us how we would struggle to get past the group stages and telling us we would never get past Juve over two legs....SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! Mark Lawrenson is now telling the world that "I can't honestly see how Liverpool can get past Chelsea"......


this guy is really ****** me off, what is it?  Can't he at least say something nice or is it he's afriad that we won't be able to spout on about he was in the last Liverpool team to Win the European cup if this team can go all the way?  Either way, i'd wish he would shut up!  At least Alan Hansen has something positive to say!

Lawernson loves sticking the knife into us.

Its a crying shame, as he was a damned good player for us.

I always get the impression that he's there thinking: all current Liverpool players are muppets compared to me and the lads I played with at Liverpool. Its like your grandad giving out over how people were so much better at everything in his day.

Since the end of the Gerrard Houllier days Lawernson has crossed the line of no return as far as Liverpool goes.

A guy was arrested in Liverpool back in 1985 for a George Michael style "embarrasing incident" in a public toilet. He was arrested by a cop from the south who asked him his name.

The guy was apparently drunk and an Everton fan, and replied "Mark Lawernson".

The cop, the story goes, knew absolutely nothing about football and entered the guys name on the custody record as "Mark Lawenrson" and recorded the details of the offence.

Later that night another cop saw the custody record and leaked it to the papers.

Thats the story I've heard and no doubt its exagerated, but Lawernson deserves it.

Just read his comments. The guy is an ****** who has no affinity for Liverpool Football Club or it's supporters. Read Hansen's comments today and you can see why Liverpool are still so fond of him. I know he sticks the boot in sometimes and he does talk a lot of ****** some of the time but atleast you know he's bloody delighted to see us in this semi-final. I don't think Lawro gives a toss.

As good as they played in the first game, I thought we'd see the real Juve in Turin, but it never happened. (Giving us no credit here)

Over the two legs I can only really recall three good chances for Juventus and I was amazed by their approach. (again, no bloody credit - getting angrier now)

But take nothing away (you just did take it all away from us pal) from Liverpool who put in two fantastic displays and keep progressing.

You keep on backing against us and we'll keep on bl;oody winning you pompous asss

I like Alam Hansen, talks sense and isn't afraid to admit he's wrong...remember the "you can't win anything with kids" line      Hansen took that on the chin and even took part in a few tv jokes where the joke was on him!  But he is happy we are doing well.....Lawrenson seems to think i know more than everyone and thats that.......obviously has forgotten about the time Keegan employed him as a coach at Newcastle and he helped make a total pigs ear of them team!

if Lawrenson has said "i'm wrong and I think my old team are in with a chance" i'd be happy...but the guy NEVER has anything good to say....generally he says we are lucky or the other team are awful.....
