hes a young lad trying to settle into a new culture it hasn't helped that hes had lots of niggling injuries

he has talent i have seen him play very well in spain and for chile on several ocassions give him more time we could be rewarded with a great player

what good is it if he's played good in Spain or Chile??

Rafa will give him 1 more season...and if he's STILL not cutting it, then he'll cut his losses and ship him out.

Gonzales is really frustrating me, I dunno how many saw him play for Sociedad but he was fantastic, I don't wanna make excuses for the lad but he was starting to show a little more promiss but he got injured, I hope the lad makes it.

He definitely looks promising. Why are we slagging him off even before he has had a season to show what he can do, and an injury delayed season as well. He is one for the future. Present LM would be Zenden and Kewell (when/if he's eventually fit). Gonzalez would work his way up the ranks, kinda like Agger has done
