C'MON YOU REDS!

Just about as strong a line up as we could put out at the moment , given our injuries , Kuyt , and that Mascherano is much better than Alonso (Just to wind Sabre and Lando up  :D  )

Rafa has sure been a lot more consistent with his lineup lately. The level of rotation has been down a lot and it is obvious who Rafa believes is in his top 11.

K'inell we deffo have to buy one or two Centre Backs in January.

Hope Arbeloa plays well there today.

S@int: I'm not worried. I simply know Alonso will speak for us and more importantly for the team soon enough.

Alonso not playing regularly before the euro of the summer? hehe. Maybe, but I don't think so. He'll give his best this months, and quite frankly if a player like him gives his best it's rare he won't appear in the starting eleven, more rare even under Rafa.

Just bring me 3 points from Manchester, por favor.

I am a bit worried about Richards coming up for corners , freekicks etc. He's a handful in the air at the best of times and Arbeloa is not great in the air by any means.

I have to say I'm surprised. I thought we'd pack the midfield since Arbeloa is at CB.  I think we're going to have trouble breaking them down without Alonso.

Also im worried he may put kewell back to the operating table. Surely he's out to show off - more so against us. Protection from referee for kewell needed here.

its important for kewell and gerrard to have a good game today, torres to be his normal self.  Its gonna be a tough one but we need a good result after the mancs dropping points yesterday.

cmon red boys

Would be nice if Kuyt actually scored today as I think Torres will have a tough job on with Richards. I think we may win this one though 3-1
