They will blame this loss on Heysel.

Pathetic defending. At least the mancs drop the points, now we need to capitalise that.

Within the first five minutes of this game, Hyypia needs to jump onto Petrov's back and chloroform him.

This is a must-win game for us again, as is every game until we catch up with the scum and Arsenal (or if we catch up for that matter).

United's slip-up means nothing to us without getting maximum points tomorrow.  United are still the biggest threat to the title imo.  I can see Arsenal and Chelsea hitting blips - Arsenal because they have so many young players and will lose Toure and Eboue soon, and Chelsea because of their injuries and the players they will lose to the African Nations Cup.  United on the other hand were starting to look invincible until today.  They won't lose many more games from now til the end of the season (that's 3 they've lost already), so it's essential that we capitalise on them losing today.

Defensively we've got a problem tomorrow.  Who plays with Carragher?  Assuming Agger's not ready and if Hyypia doesn't make it, I'd stick Hobbs in alongside Carragher.  For me Arbeloa isn't a centre back and shouldn't be considered there.  With a weakened centre of defence, I'd have Mascherano and Alonso from the start along with Gerrard just ahead of them in midfield - Hobbs shouldn't get exposed too much.  For what it's worth, I rate Hobbs and I think some of the flak he took after the Reading game was unjust - Carra had an absolute stinker that game by the way, which didn't help the youing lad.

I'll say it again - stick to the spine of Reina - Carra - Gerrard - Torres and we won't go far wrong this season.  Second-guessing who else Rafa starts with is pointless, and personally I can't be bothered anymore.  I think we'll do the business tomorrow, City could be the latest team to get a spanking from us this season, but in truth any win would do.  Come on!
