If Rafa ever left the club or got sacked I would want Mourinho or maybe O'Niel.

Five live are saying that Rafa has today told the owners to give him the new contract they have talked about or sack him.


This tells me that Rafa feels very safe in his job and it also tells me that the owners are again up the club.


2 point to note here

1. BBC Radio 5 normaly get it right but have got a lot wrong in the last two weeks and nothing has been on SSN

2. It sounds like something Rafa would say.

all i am saying that just of late 5 live has not been as good as it once was so we can not say it is true. then all i said that it is something i can see him saying.

Rafael Benitez has slammed stories that he “demanded” to have complete control over transfers written into his deal.

The reports suggested that contract talks have stalled because the Spaniard wants more say in transfer dealings and the running of the club’s youth academy.

“My agent only received the draft document of my contract yesterday evening, so my surprise is that some journalists can talk about there being problems before I have even read it properly and discussed it,” Benitez told Liverpool Echo.

“We have agreed the length of contract and we have agreed the salary. Now we have to discuss my role and my responsibilities as manager of the club.

“But we haven’t had the opportunity to do that yet.

“Someone has information and clearly wants to create a mess, but I haven’t discussed anything yet because, as I say, the contract only arrived last night.

ok if i have to say a name then it would be O'Niel, as i could take him being our manager more than  Mourinho , but i think Mourinho would do a better job.

i know what you mean i have that same feeling you just have to hate him but there is something there and he were to become the manager then something in the back of my mind says it would be ok... very strange

but still hate at the moment
