MAMADOU SAKHO - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

His own making or not he caused us not only selection problems but PR grief with the banned substance issue so anyone with the correct attitude comes back in, buttons it, head down, and work hard.

He was kinda funny at first with his quirky ways and social media contributions but now hes just pain in the back side and I think Klopp and club have grown tired of him.

Personally think he will be lucky to stay at club now though with the drug issue not completely finished with, far as I know, he will be hard to move on or even attract a loan.

Work hard or go work with Mario Balotelli and the kids in the kindergarten

Actually I am more impressed with Klopp after this. He has a vision of how he thinks it should be and the strength of character to follow through. Klopp will be here for a while so no time like the present to stamp your authority on the team. This is only good for us.

Klopp on Sakho just now before the Chelsea match...

He nearly missed the departure of the plane, he missed a session and was late for a meal.

Thought he is an ok player, nothing more nothing less.
But he seems to have a real attitude problem.

To be fair to Sakho he was building a decent partnership with Lovren and his passing out from the back was brilliant but the fella obviously couldn't give two f[uck]s, you'd think after pretty much knocking the stuffing out of everyone with that fat burner saga at the end of last season that he'd be on his best behaviour but it looks like he couldn't care less.

Mama returned to full training today, which is great news, especially considering our defence in the first 2 matches

That is good news, the Sakho/Lovren partnership wasn't perfect but it was better than anything we've seen since.

We should be seeing Skaho/MAtip as our starting CB pair.

Shop window loan for him, never rated him but had the odd decent game.

To survive a drug investigation then discipline problems you have to be some player and hes not.

Granted he's had his problems and has let the club down on occasion but I still think he's the best CB we have at the club.
Given how the back four's performed in our last 3 outings against Mainz, Arsenal and Burnley I'd prefer to see him in the starting XI than out on loan.

Well that suggests his behaviour is worse than what was initially indicated. I'd like to see him stay, I agree he's the best CB we have at the club

I heard a couple of rumours last week that Klopp had given up on Sakho and is willing to sell. Apparently we'll only let him go if we get our money back, but he effectively has no future here....
