Who do you replace him with? Adam ??? Spearing?

It lookes serious to me as soon as I saw it.

You will have to ask them to come out of Lucas's pocket first .

It's not hindsight mate - it was clear as day that Lucas was better than players like Anderson , Mikel etc - it just needed a few games to show some people what was obvious to others .

I'm struggling to think of a DM in the prem who I would swap for Lucas

Read up through the thread and you will see someone saying they would have players like Mikel over Lucas - in fact read through the whole thread and his old one and you will see how people on here rated the lad - luckily some people decided to give the lad a chance and let him develop and mature .

I have been one of his biggest critics, with justification in my opinion. But I have to say hes gone from being pure dogsh'it to a decent, bordering on good player over the last year or so.
Who knows, he could become a great player for us if he keeps on improving

If it's a tear he is out for the season.

If Lucas is out injured for a while then I hope Stevie G is nearing full fitness and in line to replace him.

Stevie wouldn't be a very good replacement for Lucas.
Spearing would have to step up like he did last season.

6 months would be a tragedy for the guy. He has worked his butt off to get where he is. He has shouldered a fair amount of abuse without running from it, or reacting poorly, and he has proven everyone wrong. You've got to have only respect for his attitude and he has earnt all the praise he is getting now.

I think he will be out for the rest of the season.
If not then at least a couple of months
