LIVERPOOL VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR - Final fixture - sun 16:00 ko

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Roger Red Hat » Wed May 20, 2009 4:01 pm

the senario :

0-0 88th minute, Gerrard corner big Sami heads one in at the kop end and the place erupts. Sami gets carried off hyperventing cos he's just sprinted 2 complete laps of Anfield in celebration, Redknapp trips up the dug out step at the final whistle and nose dives the floor spreading his bugle across his dopey face. The blood splash sprays Carraghers boots and Jamie flips his lid and drops one right on Arby's chin.

hey I should write a book

Keane will probably step it up a gear to prove a point to the fans and rafa.

Expect 8 misses instead of 2 :D

unbelievable. LFC v Tottenham and Wigan v Portsmouth the only game not shown on American television. 2 live games, and then one channel gets 1 more on delay and the other gets 5 delayed games :(

doesn't seem like any youngsters are going to get a run out because the ressies are off in holland on some tournament. Pacheco didn't go, but I think he was playing for Spain at youth level.

The main reason I want us to beat spurs is to hear `Arry`s pathetic excuses in the interview after the game.I really don`t like the man.the fact the Sky hang onto his every word irks me.
In Rafa I trust.

Word has it Sami is going to play some part, but not necessarily start. Assuming we want to win this game, I think he has to start. I wouldn't want to be trying to win the game from behind or level and using up a substitution to give Sami a farewell appearance.

People are talking about the strength of team the mancs will put out, well I'd question the strength of side Chelsea will put out. FA Cup final next week, they can only catch us if we lose and there is a shift in GD. They won't be expecting us to lose at home so I suspect they will rest a few players.

Oh and there have been a lot of digs at Liverpool FC on ITV teletext P416 this week, including some :censored: claiming to be from an "M" postcode suggesting Liverpool and authorities should "hang their heads in shame" for not marking the 25th anniversary of Heysel on the 29th May! What a prize :censored:, it won't be the 25th anniversary until NEXT YEAR.................... And I would think that mark of respect should be done at the European Cup final and we don't happen to be in that, maybe next year UEFA can fiddle us and Juventus into the final like they do with the mancs and then I'm sure it will be marked properly as I'm sure it will be anyway.

The glory hunting mancs are out in force at the moment, they win the league and reach the Champions League final and suddenly all of them have "M" postcodes and are having digs at LFC. They even talk about how we wouldn't have won in Istanbul if the European Cup had been Champions only, well they wouldn't go on, and on, and on, and on, about their "treble" win and "Barcelona" if it had been Champions only since Arsenal were the Premiership champions in 1997/98....................
