Agreed I said that start of last season he is so stubbon he thinks he is a tactical genius but let me tell you he so is not.

He needs to wake up and start to attack teams in a different style not this stupid 4-4-2/4-5-1 wierd formation that never works vrs smaller teams.

Yes emerald, stoke did get lucky, however the no-mark I have quoted seems to think its ok to draw to stoke.

well....

was fuming watching that. haven't seen that much poor finishing in a long time, and the crossing was nothing to sing about either at times.
A win here would've kept our run going nicely.....there's no big problem with the team off the back of this match, even though i thought it was the end of the world about 20 mins ago lol....just very annoying cos i hope we don't get into the habit of throwing away points like this.......

hope we :censored: destroy everton now

EGG :censored: xacly

Sorry Nanny but its all good and well saying we are still at or near the top. The point being that with results like this there is a fair chance we will pull out a performance like this again in the not too distant future so its only a matter of time before we slide into our usual 4th place position.

I thought the lads played a very good and solid game ,quick movement and passing a lot of shots and attempts from different sides to break the Iron Stock wall they build on their half side...can't criticise any of our players we were unlucky.

The only point rafa should start taking into consideration at this stage is the usage of kean ,we are better of with another midefielder (Benayoun or Babel) then with 2 strikers playing the same position.

A stupid 4-4-2?  I'm sure every manager would like to argue with you on that.

correct

because we end up making no ground on teams like chelsea and man utd who do win these games easily

Manchester struggled to draw newcastle.
Struggled to beat portsmouth on a lucky goal.
Lost to zenit
Lost to us and got dominated
And then had a nothing game with Villareal.

United don't easily win shi.t.

who said we're sh!t?  :D

it was stoke at anfield ffs, it was 2 dropped points and don't whine about the disallowed goal, we had 88 minutes after that

Did you see that team we put out? Was there anything wrong with it that you would have changed? Was Gerrard's, Alonso's, and Torres shooting shyte? We're we under any kind of pressure during the game? Were we all over them? Can this be described as a terrible performance? Answers on a postcard.

Hold on - was it not the big games we always lost in the Prem? I'm confused now.

whatever, we just failed to beat stoke at home

Yes ! We drop 2 points and that 2 points might win us the PL this season ...

come on mate, it doesn"t matter if stoke came to play to play football or not, our attitude wasn"t right- as i said we need to win our home games whoever we play! no knee jerk reaction needed we have to win our home games if we have any chance of winning the title.

the team played well today, but the final ball in the box was poor, so poor it gave stoke the chance to clear every time! my only highlght of the result is the fact they didn"t sneek a goal which would of really put us back bigtime.

the fact is that forget all this bullsh1t about cl hangover we have to win our home games in the prem, we never really made thier keeper make a decent save etc that is the main thing for me.

we created loads of chances with no end product, that i hope will not have a detrimental effect on weeks to come.

I bet you when he announced the team most of you were happy with it.

Because i know i was but they never came up with the goodies today but were still unbeaten. Who cares if it was Stoke we have to fight to win games in the prem against everyone. Im gutted we didnt win of course but we never got beat an thats my main priority

I wasn't nanny 4-3-3 or 4-2-4 would have been better

I wanted to see babel start and no kuyt or other wise yeh I guess so but it ain't just the team he puts out its all those little be very very careful this's and thats he says int here ears stupid arm gestures man Wtf is he on about.

I rather he do less in these games say right you , you and you there attack let them not want to ever come back to our ground.

I meen our players need to be let of the leash and told to attack.

Maybe we should as fans start chanting attack attack attack like last season that worked for a few games then every one stoped doing it ?

The system today didn't work our players don't know what to do in corners seems we have no real practice in that area.

Also the movement in wings was good today we got alot of crosses in but the ball from that area was really lackluster.

Plus when the a good ball was put in we had no one 100% attacking it if it didn't fly right to there heads they didn't move to attack it.

I see this every year nothing improves and teams like chavski do it isn't just the money side of it , its a coaching side and things have to change soon.

why don't you go and coach a team then if you know so much...

4-3-3 or 4-2-4?   the line up you put up before the game was so unbalanced  I had to suggest an alternative to your 4-3-3... if you can suggest such a line up and at the same time thinks you can do better than rafa, you are surely a delusional one...

there is NOTHING wrong with rafa's line up today... just because you wanna play your fav ryan babel up top and the manager didn't do so you're babbling non-sense... majority of the people who knows some football actually KNOWS that keane is a more experienced and better forward than babel...

Its the way he plays the 4-4-2 witht he wingers cutting in side most of match instead of getting tot he byline.

Punting in crosses from deep is easy to defend unless of course the cross is perfect but we don't have any one in team that can hit perfect crosses so you need to get to byline and have the cross cut back onto running players.

There you go lesson in attacking football.
