Not a great result but in fairness the only thing lacking was the finishing. Rafa picked a strong team so he intended to win it, and players pressed throughout the game. Once again however poor finishing has cost us. It always makes me laugh with Kuyt though. During the first half Keane was missing, I didnt notice him on the pitch but who gets ripped to shreds? of course, good ole scapegoat himself. Kuyt played well I thought, as well as anyone else on the pitch anyway. The amount of corners we had was ridiculous and we never threatened from any of them. Not a great result but at least we didnt concede in the last minute ! (Barnsley)

He was one of our better players today....but he does limit the team. He works his a$$ off....but is that good against stoke ? If we had benayoun or pennant on the right with riera on the left we would have stretched stoke apart...

Play kuyt as a striker by all means....just keep him off the wing. He has to be the worst winger in the premierleague...
