the game was ok, felt a bit flat most of the times, i still feel we should be getting more goals in games like this.

Sissoko good, Leto, Leiva also good, Torres good, whats going on with Crouch? Didnt seem to want to know.
Babbel good, Gerrard best player we have.
Sh.it team we are going to have to face the likes of this sh.ite the most of next season, teams that dont want to play but just set out to stop us from playing.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

for me mom ... Benayoun
and a close 2nd....Leto

what made leto become so close to mom? Just curious because i didn't watch the match and he's a new signing?

i felt he's always asking for the ball and getting into action to assist in attack on the left.
Looks to me if he's given more playing time this season he may make it for us as a perm left winger before the end of the season, hopefully.

From his body language.....can sense that something is wrong. He didn't even seem to try to get into the game.

this is a little concern here.

noticed that in this game, very little air-attack, mostly ground assault with alot more red shirts around the penalty box this time.
are we starting to play narrow iso wide in attack? I wonder.

maybe that was the  reason crouch didn't smile so much today.

Was Martin tested at all?  I think it was pretty cool that the youngster played 2 games in 2 days. (I guess its easier for a goalkeeper)

Really pleased with the performance today, defending was a little dodgy but always will be with Paletta at the back :(

One player that REALLY REALLY impressed me today was Seb Leto, it was it first game for the reds and he didn't look nervious at all, he was always looking for the ball and didn't shy away, he reminds me a lot of Robert Pires.

Torres has been a big surprise for me in the last two games, his vision is very good and he is clever on the ball, one thing that shocked me is he looks quite strong on the ball and doesn't go down as easily as I thought.

The games in pre season have been a big positive on the attacking front, the movement off the ball has been twice as good as in previous season, the football is no longer two dimentional but now three dimentional.  It will be interesting to see if we can break teams down when they sit deap ???

Didn't see the game but judging from the comments made so far, we played very well which is excellent news and the fact that the new players have melded straight in is just what the doctor ordered.

Now that Mwanck Utd have got Carlos T (still say that we should put in a bid of sorts), we will need to up the tempo and maintain it over the whole season.  I'm confident that we can and will, so come on LFC lets do it.

What two great goals.

On the Torres goal, it was a good finish but I think the man of that goal was Benayoun. That was a brilliant pass/play.

And Gerrard with a great goal.

One extremley worrying thing today that stood out a mile was that Steven Gerrard is a class above anything we have.
We may have bought great players but we need these good players tyo want to work for LFC and make us a world class team.
These new kids we have bought are for the future but have they grown up on the streets of Liverpool?
NO.
Are they going to have passion for LFC? Time will tell.
Its one thing losing Anfield its another thing not finding players that are fit to represent our great club.

Wish we had some scottish players of old who would fight tooth and nail for LFC but sadly thats the way things are going, do I like it?
NO.
Again loads of posession, loads of running about having the upper hand in a one team show then score some more fuckin goals you b@stards time to start stamping authority on games make the prem shit themselves.
