He's a recurring WUM about to be shown the door, again.

Some of you may remember him as
Jeff Capes Vampire Man and Piper, each incarnation was a complete tool.

lot of people reckon we'll bag 3 against them. I'll go for a good performance but only a 1-0 scoreline

3-0 Plessis, Darby and Nemeth!!! :p

Are you serious ? PSV may not be the power they were but they'd laugh at the selection, as do I.

Lets show the oppo a bit more respect.

If fit we should be sending out our strongest 11, we can mess about with fielding reserves once qualification to the next stage is assured.

Yes it was a jk........I'm Sorry!!!  :;):

I'd love us to make as little changes as poss, we've got a settled team and would like us to get the game won early if possible and rest some key players for the weekend.

Want to see Agger get some playing time, and wouldn't be surprised if Kuyt got a couple.

I know what you mean mate , but I do think we should take some advantage of the fixture to give some of our players a run out while resting others ahead of the vital League games coming up. After all is this team THAT MUCH WORSE than our strongest side :-

                      Reina
Arbeloa     Carra       Agger       Aurelio

Benayoun     Gerrard     Mascherano     Babel/Reira

                    Kuyt/Torres   Keane

but it would allow Agger, Aurelio, Mascherano, Benayoun and Babel to get a run out and give other players a rest.

I would still like to think that El Zhar, Pacheco, Nemeth or Ngog would get a run up front for at least half an hour.

Marseilles away gives us a bonus in that we've got 3 points on the board in an away fixture - but if we don't take all 3 against PSV at home then the win we worked hard for in France is undermined slightly.

I'd rather we sent out a full strength side, beat PSV with that team and if we want to give the squad players a run out, we do it when we've already won the group and are home and dry with the points on the board.

Until that time, we take this competition as seriously as we did last time round.

i think theyr a very good outfit... they can pass the ball and control teams and despite losing some of their better players in the last couple of years, they still play the same style and are just as dangerous.. the atletico 3-0 win doesnt mean much to me and i still think we should put out a strong team to make sure we get all 3 points and keep the momentum going..

I'm really psyched for this tilt.  I'm off on Wednesday and the match will be on ESPN here so I'll be able to watch from my recliner as opposed to the computer chair.  42inch HD beats any stream (no offense S@int :D )
s@int - 13 December 2009

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I read that in 2010-2011 season will be aired in the states depending how certain ratings do.  Only a few more years of crappy streams  :p.

I've never rated PSV, but I never rated Standard either.  I'd say a comfortable dominated game with a few scares, and a 2-0 to us.  Would be nice if we go to beat our Beskitas record and put up 9 though  :D
