I think we will just sneak a win here but maybe Rafa will pull another genius move and swap out the whole team.

would you prefer rafa to make no changes then and play the same team (minus crouch) as wednesday?

I would prefer for Rafa to stop p1ssing about and actually stick with a settled team in the same formation, we were doing great up until the Reading game when he inexplicably started chopping and changing again and look what happened, after that with the exception of the Marseille game we have been :censored: again. That is what irritates me with Rafa his constant need to change things and tinker with the team.

Gerrard,Mascherano,Alonso,Kewell

or

Benayoun,Gerrard,Alonso,Kewell

the first one for me

cant wait for this tbh .......

Tis definaltly going to be hard to break down the defence ......

I think we played class in midfield against chelsea ( made much more chances than against united )

i think i should be roughly the same ....

                              reina
finnan      carragher     sami      riise
          masch         alonso
                  gerrard
benayoun                           kewell
                    torres

i think having mascherano for extra defnce :)
alonso to drop back a bit and do his thing .....
letting gerrard to control that midfeild area ....
yossi and kewell on the wings and torres to finish the game off ....

Here's my guess for Saturday..

                Reina
Finnan,Carragher,Hyppia,Risse
        Mascherano,Alonso
Gerrard                      Kewell
                 Kuyt
                Torres

Oi Manhattan is the thread starter for new games!!!!!

lol Only kidding.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

oh such charming language Ciggy, what the hell do you know about Norway?? Yes plenty of Norwegians support Man Utd but also many support Liverpool, guess who are the happier?
For what it's worth I do support my local team, Molde, but I also enjoy supporting Liverpool, well kind of. :p

Anyway what right do you have to tell me to support another team, I'll support whoever the hell I want, I just want to see us winning and not fecking about with rotation and bizarre formations and a compete lack of original tactics.

We lost to Man Utd because they are better than us in the same way that Arsenal are, sorry but that is the honest truth.  If I was a glory hunter then why the hell would I support Liverpool, that doesn't make any sense does it!!

I do wish you rose tinted happy clappers would stop being so rude, and actually treat other members on the forum who have differing views with some respect. I guess you just can't stand any criticism of your false saviour Rafa.

Theres differing views and theres just stupid rants from people who only show up when we lose. And you im afraid are one of them. Stick with a side you say? he did, against utd. We lost. The game against chelsea, for me was irrelevant. Its the lowest competition we are involved in so it makes sense to field a weaker team and rest crucial players. Post something positive once in a while then you wont get such a critical response.
