So your advocating rotating then Peewee   :D

only for an injury    :D

I'm not actually going to criticise Rafa for doing his very best to get Gerrard onto the pitch, even after a midweek friendly International. It is after all what some of us have been hoping for for some time, so it would be kind of wanting it both ways if I was to get on his case for that. Slightly more worrying for me was the selection of Plessis in front of alonso in the first game. It smacked of a classic piece of "styling" which fortunately we were able to alleviate with the introduction of Alonso (who changed the course of the match when he came on) and with the brilliance of Torres.

I sort of understand the gist of what you're saying, gain togetherness, gain cohesion, make the starting eleven used to play together.

But football, and us particularly, have a history of players that were risked and fell again injured, I remember Alonso and Agger for instance this seasons, at that at the end of the day means not to have them available more games.

If you ask me, some decissions should be doctor's decissions, they should be the ones to tell Rafa, Ok Rafa, he'll not be at 100% but there's no risk of serious injury. In this scenario I'd decide to play the player. But if they said "there's a serious risk of a heavier injury" then I wouldn't.

Personally i would have player Aurelio wide left with Benayoun on the right but still... the guys out there should get the job done.. 2-0 Gerrard and Benni

We're at home , we need to start fast , take the game to boro and show them that we mean business , boro would be coming to play for a draw , playing on the counter and hoping for set pieces to send man forward . Our passing has to be better and and we need to have some urgency and take our chances . Kuyt starting could mean that rafa is cautious about downing and would prefer a extra man on him , not really pleased with arbeloa performance's so far and i would have hoped finnan started or carragher moved tot the right . Agger on the bench means that he's not a 100% in terms of fitness , could play 10 or 15 minutes towards the end of the game . An early goal will force them to open up and than we can play on the counter and if we get an early goal , we could see us winning comfortably .

Hope our wide players do something useful this time, but the rest of the team looks good.

WTF does kuyt have over rafa

I swear even if he had a broken leg he would get selected. Once again we still start a game with only 10 players. I dont wish injury on anyone but I think that's the only way he will drop this clown
