I suppose there's no other choice

depends on Aurelio's fitness. Would prefer Aureilio LB and Risse LW. But I take it Aurelio isn't fully match fit after just coming back from injury

Same here, Gonzalez wont get a second on the ball and so far he hasnt shown the best ball control under pressure.

Hope i am wrong but think this game is too big for the lad at the moment.

haha carragher and red nose had an argument in the tunnel at half time, proper shouting match.

anyway momo is stinking the house out, get him off, get gerrard in his best position in the centre, get crouch on and let bellamy on the right to rip vidic and evra to shreds and we might win this

Damnit, Frustrated as the Live Footy stream not working.

Listening to 5 Live.  Sounds like we are doing ok.

Sissoko has had a bad half!! Still id keep him on he may still be crucial in second half!

Gonzalez has been very poor, everytime he got the ball he lost it!

Carra has been hard as fu.ck as usual...amazing player..i fu.cking love him!!

Come on the Pool!! :buttrock

We're killing them on the right. Just a shame that it's Bellamy and Gerrard that are doing the damage out there - we could do with them being in the box to get on the end of the balls we're getting in from those areas.

Momo needs to calm down. He's been awful with the ball at his feet.

One of Riise's better games, I reckon. We've been doubling up on Ronaldo, which is helping him defensively, and he's getting good possession going forward. One very good challenge at left back in particular which ended a flowing Man U move.

Desperately, desperately unlucky with the free kick. The short ball to him from Gonzalez wasn't great, but the power he got off a stuttering run up was just phenomenal. As soon as he hit it, I thought it was in.

Carragher's been flawless again. Last five minutes of the half he snuffed out 3 or 4 openings.

I think Gerrard's got some more to show in the game. He's been good, but still about 5 or 10 yards deeper than you'd like.

Nearly a goal - Gerrard fluffed a volley after a great move.

SH*T - Bellamy should've scored. Good save from Van Der Sar, but should have been out of reach.

Great start to the half for us, this. Man U have barely had the ball.
