well , there's nothing u can do abt luck , i'm sure no striker would have hit that header better and hit such a powerful shot better

There is a differnce between luck and just plain technique, how come 9/10 when torres is faced with the goal he scores?

and how come when Kuyt is given chances they end up down the swanny?

He should be gone by next season.

I wont be surprised if his still here.  Rafa is a huge fan of kuyt

Has Pepe won golden gloves with 17 clean sheets? Only person who can match him in james who is injured, and he needs to clean sheet against fulham who are trying to stay up while reina needs to let a goal in

As long as Rafa is in charge Kuyt will be starting every game, that is the kind of thing I find depressing. I still don't think Rafa can win us the league.  :sniffle
Btw what was it Torres said about the hamstring and his amazing recovery  :D

kuyt made good crosses, got in the rights areas and came close each time. Not really good, but no need for the insults today, aim them at vorinin

vorinin is awful but there were plenty on here who didnt mind the vorinin signing as it was free.  Somehow signing a poor player is ok if there is no transfer fee involved.  Why was vorinin signed?  He offers nothing.

No Voronin isn't even worthy of that, he must be Rafa's private little joke, it's almost as if he once had a bet with someone that when he was finally a manager of a big club he would sign and continually play the worst player he could find, tee hee  :no

The Voronator did have a good game against Besiktas at home, been all downhill from there I'm afraid.

I was one of the few who expected a lot form Voronin but I have to say in the few chances he has been given he has dissappointed to say the least. I am starting to think that Raffa made some sort of statement to the owners by signing him, as though he was saying " This is the sort of player I will be buying/bring in if I don't get any real money" just like he can point to to Torres and Mascherano and say "These are the type of players I will buy/bring when given the money"

A relatively open, yet unexciting first half followed by an improved second half in which Babel and Kuyt should have scored.

A brilliant goal from Torres from an unlikely position initially, given the angle.

Insua did ok, and I'd stick with him for the Spurs game.

This is why i don't think rafa is the correct man to lead us.... He makes decisons which are so incomprehensible.... that it is downright "stupid" sometimes...

Now it's back to, 'he's not the correct man to lead us' ???

It's over, he has to go, he has to go.

Then it was:

And I like to make this clear....I hope rafa stays.... What he has done in europe this season is nothing short of a miracle... and he has earned his right. He has been competent in his job.

I never said that Insua had a bad game, I am just saying that he didn't look entirely himself out there  which is probably to be expected since he was playing Citeh and not Citeh reserves. I think he REALLY didn't want to get beat and he didn't so that was good. But normally he will be constantly linking and getting himself to the byline or having a pop from outside the box. I think because of the formation adn how far forward babel was playing, it was harder for him to play the quick one twos that he is good at, and it was a shame that Voronin blew his best move of the game. For me, he didn't look better than Aurelio on a good day
