Pre season friendly

Don't forget the lads are on the telly in Grechen Switzerland tonight at half 6. Channel 5.

And again on Satdy against Wisla Krakow - same channel - 16:45.

I think we'll probably see a few more first team members tonight, as in 'away' friendlies, Rafa's tended to start with quite a strong team, and then dilute it during the game with substitutions.

Hoping to see Degen tonight, he's received some praise after Saturdays performance. Also looking forward to seeing Dossena.

Diego Cavalieri makes his first start for Liverpool as the Reds continue their pre-season schedule against Lucerne tonight.
The Brazilian stopper joins Philipp Degen and Sebastian Leto in the starting line-up with Jamie Carragher captaining the side in the absence of substitute Steven Gerrard at the Stadion Bruhl in Grenchen.

Daniel Agger will continue in defence while Spanish starlet Daniel Pachecho is once again in the side following his impressive performance against Tranmere.

The Liverpool team in full: Cavalieri, Degen, Agger, Plessis, Pacheco, Voronin, Leto, Benayoun, Lucas, Insua, Carragher. Substitutes: Hansen, Dossena, Hyypia, Skrtel, Gerrard, Aurelio, Darby, Spearing, Babel, Mascherano.
