Pennant played like he knows he's as good as gone. I thought Spearing had a good game , worked hard and passed well. Seems to switch off after he passes though, and got caught out a few times when the ball came back to him on one two's.

This game showed:

- Pennant is not good enough and will be sold
- Carra and Skrtl is first choice, Agger has a bit to go before he is back at 100 %
- Ngog can replace Voronin as back up striker. Voronin may be sold
- Alonso is quality, he was key to keeping the ball and creating chances in the second half
- Spearing looks really good
- Cavalieri is a good back up golie
- Arbeloa and Dossena first choice fullbacks and a lot better than last years configuration
- I do however have some problems with Keane. I don't think he is worth 18 millions and he will only be an average LFC player
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

Yeah Pennant was really poor, but then again he is the complete opposite to Alonso professionalism.
All the talk of Pennant going would effect him, he isn't the most stable of players.
The big Brazilian goalkeeper looks alot more assured than charles ever did, he has settled in really well

Great game to watch, and really good to see the young guys doing well. Ngog looked really sharp and full of confidence, as did Nemeth.

Btw my recent purchase of an e-season ticket has been really good.  I would strongly recommend one to anyone that doesnt have one already.  Great seeing all the interviews and of course you never miss a game.

He has hardly played 90 minutes for the club and you have already judged?

Very, very premature ...

Good game , Ngog played well and nemeth was decent as well . I think keane and torres partnership will be sucessfulnext season . Pennat was really poor but than again he has not been given much of a run in the side for this 2 seasons , alonso had a good game as well , which is good , maybe signs that he's getting back to his best .

:censored: poor performance from rangers , and a team in the champions league as well .
Any one knows what's or next friendly ?
