Oh, thanks AB.  On Five Live they said Finnan had the armband this evening.  I'm at work in New Orleans, so I can't watch the match tonight.

cant really say alot to that really, nando looks a bit slow again.Funny game this with so many first teamers on the bench.I wish we could  prove we can grab a game by the :censored: without gerrard playing.

We really need to get a player in that can put decent crosses in, i haven't been happy with that area today at all.

very poor performance first half, what happened to the wingers, garcia gave the ball away whenever he touched it, zenden knock in sh!t crosses every so often, passing wasnt good (need alonso on), hope this improves

2nd half bring on the big guns

has nando been playing better? ???
if he hasn't then he's better start to...i dunno...improve his game because he's not living up to his reputation at the moment or since the pre-season has started.... ???

Were playing nice football, just not creating chances up front like said. On a more positive note, Sissoko look's very impressive to me again, think Rafa has bought a good 'un with him.

May be lack of goals from Strikers today may pave way for MO. Something not right if you can't score in front of home crowd, not expeting a walk over but for goodness sake at least a goal or two.

zendens been awful today, i dont think ive seen him do one thing right yet. we cant string passes together, we are keeping the ball but when we go forward we lose it instantly and arent creating anything, garcias been frustrating with constant mistakes, morientes, when he has actually got the ball has done nothing with it

only player to impress me so far has been sissoko, excellent signing from what ive seen so far, he has done most of the work.

well lets bring on gerrard, cisse, alonso and see what we can create this half
