Who can we buy though? We need to get someone established this time. Not someone on the verge or some youngster with potential but someone who can come right into the first team.

That's what everyone said after he had finally scored in the EPL vs WBA.  I talked to a Tottenham fan when we bought Keane and he had said that he can be absolutely fantastic in one match, but would miss sitters in the next one.  I'm afraid that this is what we're going to have to put up with.

He cost a lot of money and I cant see anyone wanting to spend even 15 on him so we really have to get him scoring. I guess just keep playing him and keep your fingers crossed that Gerrard and Torres stay injury free for the remainder of the season.

F*cking right it's frustrating. But people look at one mediocre result and lose sight of the bigger picture. It's just a lack of foresight from some people that's staggering. That or just a complete lack of faith in the side, in which case, why bother even calling yourself a Liverpool supporter. The boo's inside Anfield earlier were just sickening to hear.

but mate you are totally missing the point! yes it wrong people boo i fecking hate the boo boys, but the result today is not good enough, a mediocre result you say - bu11shit, that was a fecking bad result, as i said in a previous post the gd isn"t what i"m concerned about it was 3 points! we were at home ffs & our attitude was p1ss poor in urgency, creativity et. i"m not going to argue with anyone on here about my next comment cause deep down you will agree with this - Lucas is a fecking liability, fecking :censored:, & not good enough to wear the red shirt i adore! if anyone was in any doubt about his attitude, ability, desire etc to play for us at any level, today confirmed it for me!! his attitude is fecking unreal, as if he wasn"t given enough chances so far to show his commitment,or what he is capable of, he yet displayed it for me fecking nothing!! people slag off dossena, quite rightly so i totally agree with them. i will also say Lucas is in that bracket, he has p1ssed me off so much that i want shot of him in january as soon as dossena!!

i also have to say that as much as we are not a 1 man team we fecking missed stevie g today! the most disappointing thing for me is that we made fulham look good today, & you know as well as i do they are a team that will be fighting relegation again! forget the argument about international"s we have a squad this year that is capable of consistancy, but to achieve that we need to play alot better than we did today, & grind out a win, for me that performance & result was worse than the stoke game.

the fact that torres had to come out wide for alot of the time during our attacks was a concern, he should have had the service to him through the middle, or for him to make more space for himself & others around him, however we were that slow in our attacks because of the midfield not winning the ball or lack of creativity that torres was forced into other posistions to create anything he could! he for me was the only plus point, the rest of the side showed no urgengy going foward, that was the biggest frustration, it has nothing to do with lack of faith in the side as a whole ER it is the fact that certain players are not good enough, i was really p1ssed off with babel as well by the way! when he came on he did nothing to inspire the side or me! his attiude again let him down, when he lost the ball from poor control by himself, he did absoultly nothing to win the ball back!

the atmosphere inside the ground from kick off was very strange- subdude i agree, but the expectations this season have been raised another bar,by our good start to the season, but the longer today"s game went on with the lack of heart, performance the more frustrating it became. as i said in a previous post forget what the other side"s are doing we just need to concentrate on ours, for our confidence etc which we certainly lacked today.

Yeah good shout. Not that im dissapointed with Riera but Barry is a bigger character altogether. On days like this we could have looked to Barry to boss the game. Shame we missed out on him.

Im not really dissapointed about riera, Im actually happy that he turned out to be a really classy player for us. But Barry is a top player, he is bossing the game today.
