For a genius he sure makes a lot of mistakes doesn't he? Overall this season he has been good, Rafa that is, but the last few games have seen the return of mr unpredictable.

shay given ...well done lad...
poor display by Liverpool today... Kuyt shouldnt have come off... would have liked to see us throwing everything at them last 10 mins or so.... take off a defender for a forward or something but was never going to happen...

2 points dropped but thank fck newcastle managed a draw against chelsea... ManUtd will surely go out and beat the crrap outta Villa now...

form the look of it, I would rather have a 4-5-1 formation now with torres lone striker

Me too mate, I prefer 4-4-2, but not with the players we have available  :(

Wtf difference would a 4-5-1 have made, except isolate Torres even more.

The whole team was pretty quiet today. Alonso was the only sub who made an impact.

Well we're still top of the league even though we played like :censored:.  Would have been nice to have won the damn thing we had our chances to.  We do this too often though we need stevie back.  I'm confident he and Torres are capable of winning us the league if they stay healthy and everyone else does what they have been doing.

Keane should be dropped, He hasn't settled well yet, maybe he will do an anelka and play better in the second half of the season or something, but right now he has no confidence what so ever.

You don't drop a quality player who is lacking confidence.

the only consolation is that Chelsea drew as well.

Its games like this we HAVE to win regardless of our rivals performance tho. It would have given us a 2 point cushion at the top. We have to be ahead on points, there is no way we can match there goal difference
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

It's not about Keane, we just :censored: it all up this game.  We had our chances and just didn't put them in the net for one reason or another this always happens to us.

The thing is come the end of the season we dont want to be looking back a shed load of missed points. Already we have Stoke, Spurs and now this to look back on as all games we should have won. We got lucky in the sense that Chelsea didnt win either but Utd can close the gap now. With Chelsea to play Arsenal still there could have been another chance to go further ahead but we have blown this chance. I think it is time to bench Keane and give Babel a run as much as I dont like him.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
