I can't stand either player. Someone who loses possession so easy should never get a game in my book.

Suggest you take a look at Garcia's stats especially in Europe during the three years he was with us - goals against Juve and Chelsea on the road to Istanbul where we won the CL just in case you had forgotten. If you hated Garcia I dread to think what your view is of some of the current crop? Garcia did give the ball away but not often in dangerous positions and he didn't make Benayoun type mistakes like tonight. If I had a straight choice between Keane and Garcia I would have Garcia back tomorrow. Kuyt is also pretty low on my list of players to have a go at - at least there is a lot of effort and commitment.

I couldn't care less about Garcias stats. He was a horrible footballer, and Liverpool should have looked for better players.

So you don't care that we won in Istanbul? Bellamy,Barton and Bowyer are horrible footballers. Not really sure where you are coming from with Garcia. If you are prepared to ignore that he scored 11 goals in 32 European games over three seasons then your probably not going to give anybody any credit.

I thought the team was fair enough, Torres had to come off as he was clearly gone, and Keane hadn't touched the ball so I'm surprised anyone noticed. My one quibble would be if we were looking to shore it up, Masherano would have been the ideal choice, and I'd have probably brought Babel on to keep them honest. The goal was just bad defeding, it happens.

All in all though, a draw at Home against Everton isn't in itself a terrible result. It's not like some of our other Home draws, they actually are a fairly decent team. It just feels bad because we could really have done with a win, but we move on. Had we beaten Fulham, West Ham etc it wouldn't hurt so much, but we didn't so it does. As it says int he "race to stay in the race" thread, the challenge from here is to stay in touch but all is by no means lost yet.

I said the same thing at half time Mick with the Masherano one but noone was havin it, Crying out for him it was so Xabi could push on an all, with Keane  going off Stevie an Fernando back to being there brilliant best

You bunch of f*cking losers. :no

Please do tell me what he does? Let me guess. Breaks up play? Hes not a holding midfielder.

He's a shambles.

Kuyt was absloute rubbish, there was no way anybody can defend his performances over the past few months, he is a serious handicap to the team, he has none of the abilitys required to play on the right of midfield. I cant blame him, its not his fault for being played out there, Benitez needs to drop him ASAP

Get off Kuyt's d1ck mate he offered absolutely nothing and don't try to say anything different. He's not good enough as a right winger, and thats a fact. Maybe thats cos his not a right winger. Is that his fault or Rafa's?

I personally had no problem with Torres and Keane coming off, but for Benayoun and Lucas, while Kuyt stayed on, do me favour! Kuyt was shocking and needs the axe ASAP, and Lucas offers nothing, he's a terrible player.

Thank you BM - to log on and read your words has lifted me a bit- having spent a weekend of sleepless nights because my little babe (7.5mths now) is teething and was vomiting and uhhmm.. today I hoped me tiredness would be wiped away.

I have to say I agree it is not all lost yet - but I seriously question Rafa's tactics against Stoke last week when he left both Torres and Keane on the bench and now with his revelation of failing contract talks, Gerrard's impending court hearing.. well it all conspires to detratct from the task in hand

All remains to be seen.. but I seriously question his judgement after recent events.  I never thought I'd say that

I saw a game between a blue team and a red team. I thought the blue team was the title challenger and the red team as one of the relegation teams. Then i found out......   :no .

Credit to the bitters for playing like the game was their last ever game and i'm massively disappointed with our team effort and  determination and reading the statement from the gaffer ... "It is too soon [to write us off],” Benitez told Liverpool’s official website. “We are in a very good position".

“It could be better, but we have to look at the positives. We are level on points at the top with Man Utd and it's January. We are also through in the Champions League and the Cup".   ............... we've been hearing these kinds of comments for how many times only God knows. We never learn from our mistakes.
What's with the gaffer's obsession with Kuyt, why are we settled after a goal when we can go for more, why we're always busy pushing the ball back instead of trying to pressure the oppositions, why are we too slow in counter attack , why can't we win headers, why cant we have more players with pace and skills, why this, why that..the list goes on and i'm tired of thinking about it. If we didn't win anything this season, we only have ourselves to blame.

I laughed at that. He repeats the same rubbish. Wake up, we've just blown the title pretty much after 5 home draws that should have been wins, because of your rubbish defensive football.

I'll put this as politely as I can sweetheart. The language you display and the manner in which you put your views are nothing short of a hen night slapper whacked too high on vodka and coke.

I dont like the way you display your views, there not in a manner in which people argue against your statements, we just argue against you because of your insensitive, lack of intelligent ways in which you put your arguments. Disagree in ways people can attune to, and leave the foul language and insults behind you.

I am getting tired of having to read the rubbish you put but rather than complain to the mods I will put it to you in which hopefully it will reach you publicly. CUT IT OUT. Using insults is not going to buy you respect, quite the opposite. Post arguments in which you would be willing to discuss, anyone can insult, not everyone can put forward a good argument. You have the potential to. But get caught up in your own beligerance.

Respect others or just simply sod off. It really is as simple as that.
