as for where the blame lies today, Rafa put a team out that should have won the game. His subs didnt help but at the end of the day the 11 players on the pitch were capable of winning this game and seeing it out. No way is Benny to blame for giving away the free kick, it was needless but thats how it goes. We just have to believe and wait till our next game

who is to blame for giving away the freekick then god ? jesus ? rafa ? ref ? lol come on benny had done 2 fouls in that area he was just itching to :censored: us over.

yes he gave away the freekick but that doesnt justify the :censored: marking of cahill

Its cahill he is class at those sort of things way to stop him is to not give freekicks away and rafa brings on a 2 bit player to do defencive work if he was going for a 1-0 win why bring on player who is attack mined and put him into defesive duties ?

Beggers belief he ain't got a clue sometimes rafa he contradicts his self all the time with his subs he changed the shape of the team brought on players yet agian in the wrong area's and it cost us.

Liverpool feck off

How do you work for 48 hours, I didn't know that was legal or possible but I realise your point and sympathise, and I'm sure you don't mean Liverpool feck off.

worked for longer than 48 hours before

still havent seen anyone slaging the manager for the starting lineup.. it was a good one and the game was going our way and a goal was expected sooner or later...

what most have a problem with is the subs... bringing on Lucas and Benayoun... who are average players at best, players with little impact who go missing in games more often than not.. bringing them on for our 2 strikers.. was a mistake imo...

Keane was bad and maybe his sub was explainable... we still had 1 man upfront whos a real danger and 3 behind him supporting him... as soon as Torres came off though, everything went downhill for us

we had no one to pick out upfront... nothing to aim for, nothing to look out to play in... absolutely nothing in an attacking sense... if mascherano was on the bench and we were looking to defend a lead why didnt he come on for say kuyt with gerrard, benny, and riera behind torres ?! why did we have to take Torres off when we had already taken Keane off and were ONLY 1-0 up ?!

then again, the babel in for Riera sub... wtf was that ?! surely if babel was to come on it should have been for either a defender or Alonso... attacker for a defender.. thats how u go after a win...

bad subs and the manager is to blame for that... no sense of urgency in the last few minutes.. we should have gone all out commiting bodies upfront for 5 mins or so trying the long balls with the knock downs..etc etc.. nothing... toothless performance from the lads... dissapointing game overall

oh my god - and post for over reaction of the year goes here - we are one point of top now people are talking about going down to 5th ?!?!? ffs

eh we were 7 points ahead 2 weeks ago look how many points we've dropped in that time due to draws. if we keep it up we will slip further behind and the top of the table is so tight. doesnt take a genius to work it out does it eh ?

Spot on redrover ..

I don't think GYBS knows what the top half of the league table looks like....

yes and it looks like we are up there at the top just behind man utd to me .

Top half muppet, READ the :censored: post ....

And read the post before that. Seems to me you're just an antagonising SOB, like Stu ....

your making yourself look silly now - yossi was having to cover for the right back - so maybe we should blame him as well - also blame the defenders for not marking correctly once the free kick is taken .

Completely pissed off   :veryangry

Complete lack of passion from the team other than Gerrard and Carragher as usual.

I personally am starting to think that we've got fuck all chance of taking the league. FIVE draws at home is never gonna WIN you a league add that to the three away draws thats a massive 16 points we've pissed away this season.

As has been stated before convert some of those draws into wins and losses and we'd be better off!!

All I can say is I hope that the gods are smiling down on us for the rest of the season if we are to lift number 19.

We need Arbeloa back Carra :censored: sucked this game and is not fit for RB.  There are plenty of complaints I could have but not even going to bother.  What a disastrous few weeks it has been.  I don't know if we will rebound from all of this I pray that we do.

Well,what to say...
First of all,I was happy, but I wasn`t so much delighted when we scored, because it was shitt display, one of them many.
Rafael Benitez is a shitt coach. Fact. I don`t like to call people IDIOTS,but he is cluseledd. I was saying this for ages. There is no discussion about that. HE IS CLUELESS,no arguement,no displaying facts, nothing. Shitt coach and clueless one. To introduce myself,I am Petar.

What he did wrong today? Nothing spectacular, except that he made an impotent squad with no technical ability at all. He was making this squad for 5 years, and we are playing shitt football week in week out. Gerrard was our saviour today, but he can`t do everything on his own! Today,he played Carra at RB. The most reasonable choice was Pennant, absolutely no discussion about that. No defensive abilities, but what we need is attack attack attack at our place. No subs at half time, and then Benayoun! surely my mother could do that better, not to mention myself. my mother would buy some proper winger(if she wouldn`t like to spend on dossena and keane),or she would play there Pennant, who is better by miles, even with bottle of whiskey in his hand! Lucas Leiva, but not Ryan Babel. He looked like a fool on the hill when he put Babel after leiva. All negativity in our club was in that sub! MAN YOU ARE COWARD.

Kuyt did ok,but Rafa wanted him to play in every position. He ruined this guy, just like he is ruining babel,keane,pennant-good players and trying to bring the best out of the shitt players-benny,leiva,arbeloa.

New contract? give me a break, man is really clueless. I would give my house for Schuster,or Bilic. Maybe we wouldn`t win the premiership in their first season, but we would play some footie, instead of this trash, haha!

And just to show that nanny red is stupid little girl... sorry clueless... She wanted Masch instead of Keane at half time(well Rafa did Leiva thing).Babel, just maybe? There shouldn`t be discussion with those people, cause they know feck all. Man with no knowledge is the most dangerous one!

It is....irony right  ???   Made me laugh tonight anyway.

Since you don't understand the game I did not think you would understand this.

Space space space is what you are looking for to win games and create chances. Good teams are looking to extend the poorer teams and make them move and work to cover the pitch. Poor teams try to narrow it down and slow it down. This is so basic that any muppet should understand this.

So then how is having the smallest pitch in the league ever going to be advantageous. Anfield sûcks. The future lies elsewhere. How many home draws did we have last year, this year?

case closed.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.
