That was just a very very average performance from everyone. I don't particularly blame Rafa or th eplayers I just think we were shown up for a second rate team and that is very very sad.

In about a months time we will be battling it out for 4th spot and that is so fecking depressing becuase a few weeks ago I actually dared to dream only to have those dreams crushed. We will not bounce back from this we are not strong enough mentally as a team.

i'm astonished that so many people come out with this statement. have a good look at yourselves, will you?

what exactly was wrong with that team tonight? that was the 4.4.2 that so many have been clamoring for. we didn't expect keane to have such a stinker though, and torres was never going to set the game alight after being out for so long.

we were three minutes away from doing the double over them but were caught napping and by an excellent bit of movement from cahill.

in my opinion the manager did just about everything he could have tonight. the problem is that the players switched off a few minutes too soon.

Ah thats rubbish Andy.

Sure, the two strikers were quiet tonight and in fairness to them the service from the midfield was crap...but you DON'T take away your attack, no matter how long is left to go. That's just inviting the other team on for gods sake, they don't have to worry about the break from going forward.

Benitez fecked this up big time.

we still had attacking players on the pitch. we had enough quality behind those attacking players to stop a strike force free everton coming through us. we were undone by a couple of sloppy moments and a moment of great movement.

or maybe benitez wanted it to happen all along.

Yeah we still had enough attacking force to get goals, But they anit gonna score goals when there all behind the half way line!!

oh my god - and post for over reaction of the year goes here - we are one point of top now people are talking about going down to 5th ?!?!? ffs

eh we were 7 points ahead 2 weeks ago look how many points we've dropped in that time due to draws. if we keep it up we will slip further behind and the top of the table is so tight. doesnt take a genius to work it out does it eh ?

Spot on redrover ..

I don't think GYBS knows what the top half of the league table looks like....

as for where the blame lies today, Rafa put a team out that should have won the game. His subs didnt help but at the end of the day the 11 players on the pitch were capable of winning this game and seeing it out. No way is Benny to blame for giving away the free kick, it was needless but thats how it goes. We just have to believe and wait till our next game

who is to blame for giving away the freekick then god ? jesus ? rafa ? ref ? lol come on benny had done 2 fouls in that area he was just itching to :censored: us over.

yes he gave away the freekick but that doesnt justify the :censored: marking of cahill

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

How about......

We won't win the league with Rafa in charge. I will stick with my guns on this one.

We thought he sorted his ways with eradicating all this rotation, gets us top, then thinks just because we're top he can start rotating again :no

To be fair to Benny, he was the one trying to defend when it should have been our Right Back (not sure where Carra went).

Liverpool feck off

How do you work for 48 hours, I didn't know that was legal or possible but I realise your point and sympathise, and I'm sure you don't mean Liverpool feck off.

We were :censored:. I was happy with the general formation, it was a good line up and I think Rafa got it right with that, but we didn't look like a title winning team today! Why one earth did we just sit back when we scored a goal? A very even first half, but we did much better in the second, got the goal and then went back to sleep. I thought the second was near after we scored the first, but it wasn't meant to be.
