LIVERPOOL VS EVERTON

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

You cant blame yossi either, one mistake and he cost us the match? no, he was on a few minutes. If he was the only player to make mistakes in that match then maybe you would have half a case. Too many players seemed to cower to everton when they played a bit ruff. The second half the referee was very fussy and gave a freekick for every little thing. In some games passing and skill can win the day, another a bit of grit, we lack the latter.

i'm astonished that so many people come out with this statement. have a good look at yourselves, will you?

what exactly was wrong with that team tonight? that was the 4.4.2 that so many have been clamoring for. we didn't expect keane to have such a stinker though, and torres was never going to set the game alight after being out for so long.

we were three minutes away from doing the double over them but were caught napping and by an excellent bit of movement from cahill.

in my opinion the manager did just about everything he could have tonight. the problem is that the players switched off a few minutes too soon.

Ah thats rubbish Andy.

Sure, the two strikers were quiet tonight and in fairness to them the service from the midfield was crap...but you DON'T take away your attack, no matter how long is left to go. That's just inviting the other team on for gods sake, they don't have to worry about the break from going forward.

Benitez fecked this up big time.

we still had attacking players on the pitch. we had enough quality behind those attacking players to stop a strike force free everton coming through us. we were undone by a couple of sloppy moments and a moment of great movement.

or maybe benitez wanted it to happen all along.

The only thing Benitz is to blame is for not bringing some new urgently needed players - we have no RB/LB at all - we are missing a second striker and we must have another creative midfielder which can play deep - it is quite amazing we are where we are with this group of players.

We have the biggest heart in the league but need to support it with more talent - Benitz must act now.

BTW - where the hell is Agger?

I love this club to bits but Jesus its hurts sometimes, wish our next league game was midweek, then we could sort that friggin league table out

as for where the blame lies today, Rafa put a team out that should have won the game. His subs didnt help but at the end of the day the 11 players on the pitch were capable of winning this game and seeing it out. No way is Benny to blame for giving away the free kick, it was needless but thats how it goes. We just have to believe and wait till our next game

Benitez isn't getting blamed for his tactics in just this game - Its the :censored: points we have lost against teams like Stoke, Hull, Fulham . . . games we need to win to have any chance of winning the league.

Time and Time again players are not performing and Rafa is sticking by them..
His tactics costs us games and hes too bullheaded to change them!

Now im a Rafa fan . . but im a Liverpool fan and I want us to fight for this title and I haven't seen no fight from anyone yet and its fecking annoying!!

How about leave them on?

Instead of taking all the attacking players off and shoving 11 on the goal line and letting the bar stewards score!?
