Not doing much with it though are they, silly little mistakes from our players are giving them half chances. Also they have gone from fouling to diving now, Plan B as its known.

that was no coincedence. keane off. gerrard higher up pitch, benny on the pitch. then GOAL

gerrard isnt playing higher up.. benny is playing the second striker role or whatever it is... gerrard and alonso deeper..

that is not correct, or only partly correct. keane leaving and going 4-2-3-1 freed up space in the middle for gerrard to exploit. we had 10 on the pitch. we got 11 and scored. case closed.

so shouldn't we have scored when we had 10 on the pitch as there was more room according to your theory
