If you don't attack fast you've got no chance against 9 defenders.

i think clueless is the word your looking for. speaking of which, to think rafa was going to sell alonso.? the mind boggles
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

Why you would compare any team to Barce, especially an English team, is beyond me.

Think Zonal marking works dude....but why isn't he playing agger there ?

Rafa favours Skrtl over Agger. For the life of me I dont know why. Agger is a top defender and Skrtly is average at best and goes wandering too often. He is shyte end of.

Hyypia on the bench is head and shoulders above both and TBH given Cahill and Lescotts heading records..he should have started!

On the contrary I think they are better placed to get a 2nd than we are to equalize..
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

That was an astray ball like any good midfielder can do within an otherwise good game.

In my opinion Mascherano isn't playing badly at all, neither is Alonso or Gerrard despite the odd mistake.

But at the same time I must say I don't like how the team as a whole is looking right now.

Come on reds!

With 4 of the their going in for one cross at the same time, they will score an OG for sure  :D

So true.  A team defending with 9 or 10 men behind the while hard to break down is no excuse for the trouble we have in doing so. We just dont move the ball quick enough and dont have enough movement to start dragging players into positions they dont want to go to.  Its predictable huff and puff with eventually our great captain doing something himself to drag us out of trouble.
