Can that someone send him this letter to benitez...ask him to pick this team whenever we can...and we will win most matches...

                Reina
Arbeloa  Carra   Agger   Auerlio
            Mascherano
  Gerrard    Alonso   Riera
                Keane
                Torres

And yes...this is the team that should play against chelsea.

How can this be Rafa's starting 11 when there's no Kuyt in it?! Kuyt is his favourite son, remember? Yes, never mind if Kuyt is an average player with no footballing qualities. What's most important to Rafa is that he works hard. Now I'm beginning to understand Rafa's philosophy - he's trying to turn Anfield into a farm, full of hardworking farmers!!!

The most important 6 point game we have to play this season. Only a win will do.

Come on you reds! :buttrock

Reina
Carra agger skrtel aurellio
Babel gerrard alonso riera
torres keane

Go with that line up. No point in being cautious and defensive any more. We need to start ripping teams up again

If it isn't bad enough worrying about the game we have to worry/agonise over whether our manager will play his strongest team.
Kuyt has a number of qualities - but lacks pace , technique and composure.
If other teams have made substantial bids then take the money.

What are the alternatives?

Gerrard - playing him on the right would take him out of his effective central role behind Torres, they link up well

Benayoun - the one that scores a good goal or the one that does feck all or the one that gives away silly free-kicks from which we concede equalisers?

Pennant - not an option anymore

Babel - the one that does feck all, the one that does feck all or the one that does feck all?  :D

Riera - Rafa seemed to have sorted the left side out, now he's preferring Babel there and leaving Riera out! How quickly times change

El Zhar - the forgotten man of the team, we were doing well while he was making cameo substitute appearances earlier in the season.

Not saying Kuyt is great, he has been very effective on the right for us and we're not exactly overloaded with obviously better RMs.

1. I felt gerrard still can link up with torres from the right he is best crosser in our team by a mile.
2. benny is toss apart from odd piece of magic so is one of those problems give him chance or not ? I say not.
3. babel looked a little better in last game , which was little better then game before , you know my stand keep starting him he come good.
4. reira should start every game and leave him on pitch , how will he gain fitness if you take him off every time he gets a little tierd.
5. El Zhar don't really rate him he does a whole alot of nothing from something imo.
6. Kuyt should be used as a sub and brought on at 60 mins if game demands it to close down space on right if we need to hold a 1-0 2-0 lead.

The pressure is really on for both teams in this one. A draw helps neither side.

Originally the Mancs ve Everton was on Monday night but it's been moved forward to Saturday night. Typical.

I think Benayoun usually plays well against Chelsea, nothing outstanding but well.  Might be worth to give him a shot to see if he can continue a run of good form.

Torres will be beat up this game, and if we play 1 striker, Keane or Babel should take his place.  If we have 2 strikers, deff. Babel to replace Torres.  Scored against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Utd, no reason why he cant do it again.

Riera on the left is a must, I'd rather not see Kuyt until Benny gets tired.

I think thats the way to go as well either benny babel or gerrard on right till 60 off mins then bring him on.

Of course don't take gerrard off just move him into the center for last 30 mins lol.

There he can stiffen up our resolve.

Like to this

            Riena
Arba   carra  skrtel   doss

           masch
Gerrard            Riera
          Alonso
       Keane
               Babel

After 60 mins this if all goes to plan IE. we get a goal.

            Riena
Arba   carra  skrtel   doss

      gerrard  masch
Kuyt(on around 60)  Riera
          Alonso
          Torres(on aroud 60)

Their most probable team:

               Cech,
Bosingwa, Alex, Terry, Ashley Cole,
Kalou, Mikel, Ballack, Lampard, Malouda,
               Anelka

This was the team that played last.

What, you saying that they might play the same team in two consecutive matches  ??? Don't their players get tired or something? Don't they have any options or possibilities?

That Scholari, he must be stuck in the 70's if he's even contemplating that line up.

We'll be lucky if that's the team but somehow I expect Drogba to play.  The only question is which Drogba will show up?
