On the strength of what I've seen tonight, I can see them losing more than a few Prem matches this season. We made them look very, very ordinary, and if we can repeat that on Sunday, I'd like to think they'll lose a lot of their cockiness.

Radio said it was a boring game, on my way back from the pub - I didn't think it was boring at all. Very proud of my team today. We made Chelsea look ordinary. I was glad Drogba played, cos Carra still had him in his pocket from last season. We made Mourinho change his system for the first time this season, putting on both his strikers. Failed - Ha! Neither of them had a touch. Chelsea time wasting in the last 5 minutes. Bringing on Huth in injury time - Mourinho might say we didn't deserve to be Champions, but he was clearly terrified of what we could do to them.
Sunday will be a different game. An English ref would'nt have whistled for as many fouls as that bloke tonight did. Mind you he was as blind as Mike Riley when it comes to handball in the penalty area :;):  I thought Cisse played OK. His attitude was much better anyway.Garcia did lose the ball, but not as often as ususal, and more importantly, he did in the last 3rd, where you want your flair players to take a chance or 2. Crouch (much to my amazement) looks quality - he's not just a big bloke to hit high balls to. He held it up well, and usually controlled the difficult balls that came his way, and made sure of keeping possession most of the time. That's a very difficult skill. Confident we won't lose on Sunday, and maybe we'll get our long overdue penalty.
Best of all - we are a better team than Chelsea, and we now have the proof! Even Mourinho believes it

Overall it was a good performance, and I didnt think it was as bad a game as they made out. It was a nice game of football.

Hamann was brilliant, showed that he can still put in excellent performances as long as he is not over used. One of the most intellgiant players I have ever seen play for Liverpool in recent times.

Cisse was poor agian in my opinion, awful in the first half, but did better in the second. He will struggle against any one with pace because of his lack of technical abilty and footballing brain.

Reina flapped at one, I was very angry, but he redemed himself with an excellent punch and a vital and impressive intervention after Carraghers mistake.

Can't believe we didnt get at least 1 penalty and should have had 2. We were much stronger in the second half.

Just missing that cutting edge at the moment, but we need better quality players in the attcking postions.

Wasn't it Hyppia's header on the second half? I thought the worst...

Probably both. :) -- I was quite nervous

Ed: no sorry, I understood I had bad memory. I'm talkin about a header that was sent back about min '80 in which Pepe barely arrived to the ball

Sabre, In Spain do they teach there goalkeepers to punch more often than catch?

I have noticed that Spanish keepers tend to punch balls that they would be expected to catch in England?

Yes, and that's a mistake in my book of goalkeepers... but there's that tendency.

Mistakes like Casillas against Yugoslavia, or Cañizares last week, (tried to catch, failed and leave an easy ball to the striker) make them bet for this "cautious" approach.

Maureen is so thick and full of himself...his team was lucky to get the "helping hand" on two cast-iron penalty decisions and yet he claimed that we played "basketball" and was playing for a draw. Clearly he couldn't stomach that we could match them and more...let's finish the job and shut him up on Sunday

We done well tonight. Took the game to Chelsea well, but just lack that little bit of quality. Far and away our best performance this season. Good to see Alonso back doing well, Crouch is getting better wth every game(much to my surprise), but MUST have a strike partner.

thought gerrard Played his worst game for LFC. He bottled it big time. you could tell he was nervous. he couldnt get hold of the ball, and control it and looked nervous on the ball.

took 3 sh*t free kicks too.

Hamann, i have to say MOM, played very well i thought. so too defence and crouch was good on deck, although he didnt get in on goal much.
