Dissapointed but not really surprised.  Chelsea are just a bunch of glory hunting pr!cks that use their first team for a Carling Cup match.  I hope Arsenal kids would do them.  We have to focus on more important things now.

anyway, enough of that - how cr@p are chelsea fans!?

"who are ya! who are ya!"
"you'll never get a job..."
"your support is fackin sh*t"

they're a proper sad shower of sh*t - they're like the lower league teams' fans who follow eng-er-land everywhere. i thought they were gonna start doing the "woooooah you're sh*t aaaaaarrrgh" every time we had a goal kick    whoppers the lot of 'em

living in london and with 4/5 of my mates being chelsea fans i sadly get that all the time
it really gets to me

"you'll never get a job..."

That's a bit rich coming from a team supported entirely by White Van Men, who spend their days driving up and down motorways, calling Talksport and complaining about immigrants, and killing hookers in their spare time.

It's about pride, our Liverpool pride and we lost it tonight.
It's not about a carling or FA or PL cup encounter for me, it's Lfc vs a PL team and a must win for us at all cost.

More so as we came so far to be in the qtr-finals for this particular cup-tie and we gave it up. It hurts.

ive used that excuse already....even i am getting a bit tired of it,  we never have bragging rights these days, the only one i can think of is the CL semi final 2005......
we never do the business against chelsea, arsenal or chelsea these days...granted chelsea and utd were always bogey teams when we were winning leagues left right and centre.
I think we need another striker like an anelka and a couple of wingers who can beat their men and get quality crosses in....we are too one dimensional at times.......

Do what Manhattan does.

If we get beat in the Carling Cup, just dismiss it and say "meh, we didn't care about it anyway".

If we win the Carling Cup, you say "YAY!!!! We won the Carling Cup!!!!"

pedro maradona has done this many times.

Its bad enough though when you have Utd fans saying ahh who cares about the Champions League the Premiership is more important when Liverpool do well in it and those manc s k u m  cant get it right on the european stage.

Pedro deserves to have the bragging rights over the likes of souless clubs like utd and chelsea.....

Liverpool fans should sing this at all games:

Link

Once the opposition hear our fans break into some classic Easy Listening, they will be so relaxed, we can beat them.

We never win at Chelsea anyaways and considering we fielded some lesser light and they havent lost at home for 50 matches a defeat was very likely and came to pass.

One or two decent moments first half when I thought we more than matched Chelsea but they had more quality and it began to tell the longer the game went on.

We have several average types as we all know but Lucas and Babel still look very good too me and deserve more first team game time in my opinion.

Aside from them and our known better players apart we are very short on footballers that are good enough to make an impact at Liverpool.

getting sick of liverpool losing tbh 3 in a row now ........ :(

Peter Crouch gettin sent off it was because of the goal and everytime we play a top 3 team they get jammy goals thats wat i'm getting sick of actually these jammy goals going in then lampard celebrated like a mad man which p*ssed me off completely ....

Then he decideds to keep voroin on when all he does is lose the ball cant pass, cant run, cant tackle, cant shoot outside or inside the box tbh honest why do we even pay his wages ....

Rafa decideds to take Alonso off when he was the only person who could drop back ,pick up the ball, and create space with a pass when he went off it was like we were givin up again because we knew alonso controled the first half and created all the chances ....

Intadja had a blinder except for the jammy :censored: goal they scored off carragher and it was nlucky in the 92 min .....

I was really impressed with Lucas, he has such a good passing ability.  He was amazing in front.  I would really like to see more of him in that position.  If he keeps improving he could be the next Fabregas.

Lampard wasn't celebrating his goal.

He was celebrating the fact that Richard Attenborough was in the crowd, because Frank has always admired Dickie's work.
