LFC did ok. still room for improvement.

The league will not be won on Liverpool v chelsea results, more on  complete consistency, winning nearly every game.

shevchenko was a big threat today, sissoko played well also, but the key was the starting line up, to show that LFC can still field a strong team without stevie g, or alonso.
Chelsea never stretched us in the first half at all, and i thought we were comfortable.

a good pre season warm up,  momo is going from strenght to strenght

what pleased me most was the strenght of our bench!!!! gerrard and alonso to come on is a gauge of how much depth rafa has to play with

Huzzah! Good start to the season.

Metalhead mate, you have the game available via torrent, in mininova or deness trackers! I was downloading it and avoiding to know the result but a friend congratulated me for the victory  :)

As soon as I see the whole game I comment it !

It's glad to have the guy who wearing 22 in red jersey on our side. Finally, we have find ourselves the greatest signing. He've done a lot of good runs and tackles which influences the whole team spirit. I am starting to think about the next 10 years with the services of him.

A good win and once again a bleak day for Jose.
Reds is the sacred colour before this world was born.

you`ll be able to see most liverpool games this season using ppstream and tvants to name a few, costs nothing but the hassle it takes to set them up.

WOW ...  great game... great win... Sissoko was great...riise was great....agger looked good.. still not sure about our strikers though... all i could think of in the game was what if we had a striker like 'shevchenko' ?! i mean... no offense to all who think he sux and all but ... he was simply brilliant out there ! with the standard of play he showed in today's match i think he'll be a massive hit for chelsea and will probably be in contention for 'premiership top goalscorer' come the end of the season !
What i liked most about today's game was that we played Gonzales, Pennant and Garcia and it worked to perfection ! even when bellamy came on for garcia, not much changed in the way the players were positioned ( bellamy went back alot to help build up play) .
From what i'v seen in today's game, i think we can play Pennant, Gonzales, Momo and Gerrard as our 4 midfielders and can handle the dropping of Alonso if needed ! At the moment, I think playing gerrard amd Momo in central midfield is worth taking a shot at specially now that we'v got 2 decent wingers !
Aurelio was good at LeftMidfield but i still dont see Gonzales or Kewell dropped to make way for him in the first team .  Gerrard still needs to get back to match fitness and i hope he does so asap !
Great Game...Great win.... keep them coming

I see you point about the midfield and in a way I agree with you but were does that leave Alonso. 5 into 4 dosent go!
