LIVERPOOL vs CHELSEA - CL SEMI-FINAL 2ND LEG, BABY!!!!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Don't sit on the fence Lando :D

Back on subject, I don't think the loss of Shevchenko and Ballack really affect things majorly. Neither has been in great form at any point this season and neither looks much of a dangerman for them. Kalou and Mikel look hungrier and sharper than either of the bigger names, and I fear what impact they could have more so than either of the aged superstars. Kalou showed again that he can be very dangerous with two goals against Bolton on Saturday, so we really need to make sure he's looked after by the defence. Robben is in the squad but we'll probably see him from the bench because he can't be match fit.

BasPSV, I warned you that we do not accept wind ups here, and you're obviously not  a PSV fan, you write from england.

A note about Mejuto Gonzalez

Watch out, he's not like Merk. He delivers cards easily. In a sense, I'm happy with him being the ref, because I think he'll favour the local team slightly. I'm sure the Spaniards have told their team mates not to tell anything to this ref, he can show a load of yellows if he's surrounded after a decission.

Is it the fact that the possiblilty of the Mancs in the final has but a dampner on the whole thing  :(
Just feels so strange dont think Ive ever felt this way before.

Its different becasue even if we get past Chelsea I dont think we could do Utd (assuming they go through).

They are on form and quite frankley our defence is :censored: at times.

Its not that we arnt backing the team but this is going to be a whole lot tougher than 2005.

Milan will do the mancs tonight .... of that I am sure

No they wont i am sure of that, as they play tomorrow  :rasp

There is only 1 deluded person in this exchange.

Nomatter.

We will beat Milan and then Chelsea.

Happy days.

How many more seasons can you stomach without winning the Prem before Benitez follows Whollier, Evans and Souness out the door and into history on the growing list of failures...

:wwww

What's up - does it hurt you that your sh*thouse side - the richest in the World for a good 10 years - has only managed to win the big one twice?

The same amount as Nottingham Forest!?!  :wwww

Come back when you've got 5, lad.

FIVE!!!!!!!!!

Mind you, by the time that happens, LFC will have 12, and we'll all be long gone.

Same old Manc scum - always talking out their a*seholes.

Good luck against Milan, you f*cking tool. They'll smack your ladyboys all over the shop.

And regarding our failure to land the title - you silly b*stards STILL haven't caught us up in all that time.

You lot will always have an inferiority complex about us, and your joining this forum and posting on the eve of your team's biggest game for 8 years just serves to back up that point.

Sad act. :no

people also need to realise that when rafa took charge, we had possibly the worst squad of players we'd had for many years. i mean to win the CL with a team consisting of dudek, traore, biscan (ocassionally) and baros was nothing short of staggering.

now's the time to judge him because we'll actually be able to pay top dollar for players and entice the first choice players he actually wants. up till now, manure and chavski have spent more on three players than rafa has in two and a half years.

Rumour has it Shevchenko was told he'd be on the bench and suddenly he pulled out injured.

We have to keep Joe Cole and Drogba quiet, Cole has a nasty knack of scoring winners against us and Drogba is their main threat. I think our best hope is not to concede, I think we've only scored 3 goals or more TWICE in games against the rest of the top four under Rafa and both of those came this season against Arsenal (3-6 and 4-1) Against Chelsea I think the most we've scored is 2 goals in any game (2-0 and 2-1)
