Mascherano's doing a good job of tackling and breaking things up, but we need an outlet. Chelsea are getting on top of us, and we need to get a grip of the game if we are to win this. We're shakey at the moment.

Half time. Great game. Great Reina. We have to control possesion now.

F'CKIN hell, I hate this. Even if we go 2-0 up and they nick one, if it stays that way, then they go through! Scary biscuits!

GET IF F'CKING DONE, REDS!

well we started well but let them back in the game in the last 10 mins.

The key is possesion, passing to a red shirt. a lot of the later part of that half was long balls which were easily dealt with by chelsea, and allowed them to gain a bit more of the ball.

I would bring Bellamy on early in the second half. Chelsea now have to come out more and Bellamy may get space now to run behind them.

A lot better than the first leg, Drogba although he had one chance is looking frustrated. Big difference having Stevie in the centre, the over hit balls from left to right are now being picked up by pennant a natural winger. Mascherano is getting stuck in which is great to see should of gone down when Fat Frank pulled at his shirt leading upto the Drogba chance. Quality move for the goal and Agger did well to direct it in the bottom corner at that pace. More of the same second half and maybe Bellamys pace last 20/15 mins just to keep the tired legs of their back four on its toes

Gonazales old fella is having a good game to, letting the game flow and not falling for their theatrical tumbles

I think Zenden was put in to give Riise more cover rather than Gonzalez who would leave Riise exposed

Robbie Earle has just said, if it goes to pens - they'll not be taken at the Kop end.   :glare:

I agree. He's a better player to keep possesion, if we get another goal though, it would be nice to have gonzalez for the counter attacks.

Crouch is doing aswell an enormous job.
