Someone was right before when they said "Mascherano is suspended" should have been put in the thread title.

We usually have a fantastic defence using zonal marking and we haven't conceded from a corner for ages

Tired of people using the sh.iting zonal marking excuse, it works if done correctly

Don't buy it. We look vulnerable every time we have to defend a corner.

Men score goals, not zones.

yet since zonal marking has arrived we have been far far stronger defensively .

Imagine if we man marked, cor blimey we wouldnt concede for 500 games we'd improve soo much!!

I don't like Lucas ever but we need to back the team totally now!. Who knows and maybe Lucas might get a goal as we must win now and take a draw next week to advance. Keep our fingers crossed and I'm sure Rafa will correct it.

Zonal marking is a poor substitute for picking up your man. ALWAYS will be.

good start to 2nd half, i feel we need a 2 goal cushion for stamford bridge
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back
