You cannot beat the Anfield atmosphere on a Champions League night!!!!!!! Nothing compare. Every single person in the ground will be up for it tonight, they don't just have to beat the team, they have to beat all of us. I love it! F**K OFF chelsea fc YOU AINT GOT NO HISTORY 5 EUROPEAN CUPS AND 18 LEAGUES THAT WHAT WE CALL HISTORY :buttrock

Love it! I wish Mourine was still at Chelsea, that really added the extra spice to this game.

Anyone wanting to know/caring about how the manc result stands them with their "clean sweep" goal : when the home side has drawn the 1st leg 2-2 they have gone through only once in six previous instances.

06/07 (QF) Milan 2-2 Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich 0-2 Milan

08/09 (L16) Atletico Madrid 2-2 Porto, Porto 0-0 Atletico Madrid
06/07 (L16) Inter Milan 2-2 Valencia, Valencia 0-0 Inter Milan
05/06 (L16) Rangers 2-2 Villareal, Villareal 1-1 Rangers
05/06 (L16) Ajax 2-2 Inter Milan, Inter Milan 1-0 Ajax
01/02 (SF) Man Utd 2-2 Bayer Leverkeusen, Bayer Leverkeusen 1-1 Man Utd

BUT the only one of those ties at the last eight stage was the one where the side at home 1st went through. The only previous time the mancs drew at home 1st leg 2-2 they went out, it's odd how often it is 2-2 and both legs are draws. Only one of the two 2-2s hasn't happened since we won in Istanbul, I thought I heard that Porto haven't lost at home in the European Cup or something like that so the mancs would need a high score draw of 2-2 minimum if that record remains intact

Porto've never lost at home to an english team

but i think that the mancs have got enough firepower to win the 2nd game anyhow - the important thing for us is that there's no 3-0 result from the home leg that would have allowed ORN to rest up players for the Portugal trip... keep the mancs straining til the end and something will give (it already is tbh)

i reckon two or three goal margin in this, been a while since Torres put one away, time for him to show his class tonight I reckon :;):
