Exactly. Rafa cannot be blamed for all those chances missed by morientes.

decent performance, created a lot of chances, but we were very wasteful. IF we had an in form striker banging the goals in, we probably could have won by 4 or 5 tbh.

good result, we are/were going through a bad patch so with cisse scoring and then shaking hands with rafa its all good especially getting 3 points

Rafa did start with a more attacking line-up today ,so you cant blame him. He has possibly realised that two up front at home is probably going to be the order of the day.

I am really puzzelled how anyone can support Blackburn :kungfu:  They cant play football atall, they are just absolutly sh#te the quicker they get relegated the better , they are really sh#te.
Bitters got beat so still bottom :D
Arsenal got beat 2-1, (whats that about injuries?)
Wish we where playing them next week.
Positives to come out the game Cisse upfront is better than Cisse on the wing or the bench, morientes looked very promising, Crouch on the bench please Rafa, Cisse and Morientes to start from now on...............
Thankyou :)

The performance wasn't the most important thing today, the points were considering we'd only won once in the prem before today.

Anyone wanting to nit-pick at the performance should wise up.  Winning breeds confidence and our performances will get better after we pick up a few wins.

I'm still not convinced by Cisse as a long term solution up front for us, but he's the only one that looks like scoring for us at the moment.  He could be a key player for us up until christmas, we have a lot of games coming up against teams we should be putting away, we need him to get the goals.

Not really moany. just being realist. I'm delighted with 3 points ut not getting carried away over 1 - 0 victories over 10 men teams

Well one of my mates who I'm on the pi.ss with tonight is a Blackburn fan and he's been talking them up all week.

He's been ignoring my texts since the game, but he will be getting a good ripping later :)
