Seems logical to me, in a city like Liverpool and what football means, your choice of teams is crucial, how can you come from down south and support us, when you have plenty of other teams to support - its called gloryhunting - lots of teams suffer from it

Teams dont suffer from it, supporters do.

This is a local shop for local people. There's nothing for you here.

Once Tesco's take you over you will be able to say this with feeling  :D

I should avoid these threads when we draw or lose. It brings nothing but mad people out of their shells to type complete and utter bollox.

As for the game, it was disappointing, but it really doesn't matter seeing we were out of the league since Reading, oh and those two gobsh*te :censored: still own us. Could be worse, right? It's all Rafa's fault, right! Yes. That's the answer to all our ills - Rafa is shyte. He doesn't have a clue that man. Give me a f*cking break.

So let's get this straight, shall we?

We took the lead early in the first half and were cruising, then Villa took advantage of Arbeloa's injury to score the equalizer. 2 minutes later, then score a flukey deflected goal to take the lead.

We then score through Crouch, and equalize.

And it's RAFA'S fault we didn't win?

Ok then - keep smoking that sh*t, peeps... :O

I thought the whole idea behind playing Kuyt was so we had someone to blame when we didn't win.  :D

I don't know what's wrong with that man. The chance he had wide in the box just baffled me to why it was such a poor effort from such a good chance to score from. I mean, he had the touch of a rapist and spooned it 10 yards wide from 10 yards out. I now think Dirk is homesick and has been dabbling with some of the Dutch stuff.

Before they equalised. Villa was pressing all over and we were making all kind of errors. Kewell ran out of steam, Kuyt offered nothing defensively and offensively. I was saying to myself its time to change and do it quick. It was around 55th min. It took rafa more than 10 mins to make a change but it was too late.
Now i'm not saying its all Rafa's fault. players have to share the shi.t as well. But from the dugout, its quite clear to see continuous pressure would lead to the goal.
Its up to you to decide whose fault it is.
Its always hard to admit mistake when it comes down to you or your thought (this is in general and am not referring to you Lando)

Most teams have a period of pressure - we're adept at soaking it up and going on a counter-attack.

I maintain that had Arbeloa not been injured (Rafa had already started the process of getting Skrtel warmed up), then we wouldn't have conceded that goal.

And the other was just a fluke.

Gutted.

We couldn't kill the game off, at times we dominated the game but we just couldn't string together a series of clear-cut opportunites that you need in order to kill games such as this one off. Villa were f*cking lucky though - how often will Harewood do that? How often will Bramble do what he did? At home though, there's been something inauspicious about our inability to create sufficient discernable opportunities.

It was once our away form that cost us title challenges, now strangely our home form has turned to shit and that's cost us.

Chelsea - 2 pts dropped.
Birmingham - 2 pts '
Spurs - 2pts '
Arsenal - 2pts '
Man U - 3 pts '
Wigan - 2 pts '
Villa - 2pts '

15pts dropped in total.

Of those, Birmingham, Spurs, Wigan and Villa should have been nailed on wins if we were to have a shot at the title.

That's 8 points extra, it would have put us right in the mix.

Damn f*ckin shame.

We also scored first in 5 of those games  :(  It used to be getting the first goal was the hard part, now its become a problem keeping our lead.
