Villa will park the bus.

Defend defend defend.

Unless we intend to attack them mercilessly, be prepared for a bore draw.

Think this might be a 1-1 draw.

Carew scoring 1st....then either gerrard or torres getting a late equaliser.....

Well....my expectations are so low this season that a 1-1 draw with villa is sort of satisfactory for me...

5-0 Liverpool. Players are gonna stand up and be counted. All the talk from the players that they should put in the performances will be on song. Off the pitch its a farce, on the pitch the players will perform. Scrap the negatives and let our football do the talking.

Manhattan heard rumours that Everton fans were calling NHS Direct all day suffering from chronic nosebleeds.

They were treated by bluenose doctors, its down to heyselitus, the cotton wool they stuffed up there noses didnt last long, they fell out midway through the day...

We really need the team to make a statement of intent tonight......... 2-0 and play well. After the crazy week off the pitch we need something positive on the pitch tonight. I can't see it being a high scoring game as Villa are pretty good, but not that good that we should be overly worried or cautious. Get an early goal and we will be well on our way.

If Voronin starts I will get a bottle of vodka and go to bed and not bother watching.

I'm not going to make any line up predictions as this is basically impossible with Rafa. Based on his last performance I think Pennant has to start. I know his last game was against Luton, but he looked really energetic and his first touch was spot on. I think its his delivery of crosses is what we've been missing, Benayoun cuts in far to often for my liking.

We can't afford any more missed opportunities and games where we have created loads of chances we need a win. So no voronin.
