RUSHIE#9 wrote:Excellent result and a very good all round performance from the team. Crouch was outstanding in the lone role up front and his service was exceptional from the flanks today. Aurelio had what I think has been his best performance since he signed for us and for a change Pennant looked fully up for it although some of his passing did still go astray at times. I felt that Gonzalez was again very poor and just doesn't seem to be adjusting to the premiership at all. Alot of his passing failed to find it's target and apart from the odd run at the full back I thought he did very little. Mascherano and Arbeloa also both had very good games and they both look like very good additions to the squad. Final words must go to Crouchinho though as that final goal was just exceptional. The footwork and ball control with a defender right on top of him has to be applauded.

CROUCHIE  :bowdown  :bowdown

:nod

Has to be first on McClaren's teamsheet from now on, he is absolutely world class, immense in the air, awesome balance, fantastic vision, solid tackler...best striker in Prem on today's form.

very happy tonight, peter crouch proves once again that he actually really good, when will people actually admit this? (barre lfc fans, we know hes quality)

one worry though, even when the team was playing great ,gonzalez wasnt, he seemed to be not on the same wavelengh again, not sure if he will make the grade yet....he lacks the skill and  flair to play wing i reckon

aurelio though was like roberto carlos in his prime

fkin about time....

thought it was a great performance by the lads today...MOTM was of course Crouch, who not only scored a hat-trick but every one of those goals were brilliant and showed-off different techniques.

Apart from him, mascherano and aurelio i thought were fantastic today, arbeloa had a good game aswell.....the whole team played well enough and we "controlled the game no?" Gerrard looked knackered from the start, but should of put his one chance away....nobody played bad though EXCEPT for once i can say that the players did much better than the crowd.....what the hell was wrong with them today? silent as :censored:.

Lets win every game from now, no reason why we shouldn't..

I thought Aurelio did ok. Made a great cross for Crouchies second. Made up for Crouchie, following in Robbies footsteps with a hat trick against Arsenal! :p
