Yeah me too mate.

Its quiet in here now.... the lads are dreaming of Moscow. I doodled away the hours looking at flights to Moscow, looks like they're gonna be @200 quid return which is affordable. You're not going to get it any cheaper on the train etc..

Anyway... tonight was a big one. I'd put that up against St Etienne myself. The knolwedge that possibly a better team was coming to throw everything at us, that we couldnt sit back, that we needed to take the game to them and score, then to come back from a goal down, then be in a loss position with just 7 minutes to go then finish the game winning by 2 clear goals. It was a monster, a freakin' monster. If they made a film of that you wouldnt believe it, it was too Roy of the Rovers.

Where do we get these unbelieveable story lines from? Are Shanks and Bob up there pulling the strings and making the players dance?

I bet there wasnt a spare seat on their cloud tonight.

Well done Reds - You DID make us Proud.

Fantastic game. Something weve come to expect nights like this isnt it once were past the group stages :D . Skrtel and Ferdinand = 25 million pound difference? I think not! Carra was good full back, Sami was immense, Torres' goal was terrific, Babel has so much potential its scary. I dont wana go on sayin who played well and whatnot cos nows not the time. Bring on Moscow. Rafa, The Fans, The players = There the reason where the best club in the world.

P.s, I still think Kuyt isnt Lfc standard  :D

Sami's goal was soooo vital for us tonight.  To give Senderos the little shimmy (man-marking! :D ) and come back to the ball was brilliant but then he fired that bullet of a header off the post such that Fabregas had no chance to clear it off the line...magic!  And so absolutely vital to the cause, as we really were under the cosh at that stage.  Outstanding! :nod

Gotta say babel when he's motivated, on song and not avoiding the ball reminds me a lot of John Barnes.  Even as far as barnsey avoided 50/50 balls as well.

How can he play so :censored: down there on sunday then play a blinder tonight? The power of a bollocking!!

Just got back now. WHAT A FU..C..K.ING NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! FU...C...K...I...N...G AMAZING!!!!!

We didn't look back from the moment Sami put us back in the tie. Fantastic performances all over the pitch and once again the fans were out of this world. Mascherano was an absolute monster, Aurelio had his best game in a red shirt by far, Kuyt was (again) excellent (i've never seen an engine like it, except maybe Masch!), Hyppia and Skrtel were quality and once again FERNANDO TORRES take a bow!!!!!! Absolutely made up, this is one i'll tell the kids about (when I have some!!)

Right, bed now, I got a 12 hour flight to Canada to sleep through! Taxi gets here in 5 hours!!!!

Where you off to, Scott?  Twelve hour flight sounds like you're heading pretty far west?  Have a great trip, mate.

No she can't....

But i can.

Bit harsh that, whats the point of letting other fans on if  their just going to be banned off for next to feck all or having the cheak to have an opinion. We`er bigger than that.

And i missed the chance to take the p!ss.  :D

I couldn't get on here a few hours after the game.

Anyway, here's my version of events:

It was nerve wrecking at the start. Then they scored and I thought we were gonna be f*cked on this one. Another would kill us I kept thinking. Then Sami. Then it felt good. Then Torres. Felt even better. But even so, the nerves remained because one goal and it could be all over from them. Then Theo. I plugged my ears; turned my back; then unplugged them and the commentator was going mental and my mate said, "It's all over. We're out." I felt my stomach go, and my bollox shrinking into my groin. Then Babel. Then up steps Steve G. I bricked it.  He scored. I went mental. But still the nerves remained. Oddly, it still changed f*ck all. Then Babel again. Tea flew around the gaff and I went mental. High fives all round. My bollox came back down, and I blew a load. The end!

Oh, and Big Sami deserves a special mention. I would kiss big Sami. Even though I am not gay, I'd do it in a non-gay manner. Big Sami is the man! That goal was the most crucial one of the night, and probably in his career.
